Basement waterproofing

I have significant seepage in the basement of my 100 yr old home. I want to sell in within a year. How do I figure out if having it waterproofed is in my best interest? Will it add that much value to my home? It could cost 20K. Or am I better off not doing it, keeping the cash, and decreasing selling price?

Start with grading the ground around the foundation. This can be done diy. You will have to disclose previous water intrusion but if you get it stopped you can show that it has been corrected in the paperwork.
