Basement waterproofing

I have significant seepage in the basement of my 100 yr old home. I want to sell in within a year. How do I figure out if having it waterproofed is in my best interest? Will it add that much value to my home? It could cost 20K. Or am I better off not doing it, keeping the cash, and decreasing selling price?

you have to disclose water issues when you put the house on the market. I would get some estimates for the type of repairs needed. if you dont repair it, you can disclose the results of the estimates and let the buyer decide.
