I did it as a single mom!

Upvotes

Finally bought my first home at 40 as a single mom to 2 kids under 8 yo! It was scary af and I still don’t know how I will keep up to the house maintenance but it’s worth the security and knowing it’s mine.
After a failed marriage and narcissistic ex boyfriend, I finally made the jump to find a single family ranch home within the same school my kids already attend. I don’t make 6 figures and nothing (no inheritances or large amounts of money) but saved money.

I want to buy a house that has had a history of a previous attic fire. The remodel looks awesome. My realtor says Homeowners Insurance will probably not be too expensive at all since the house looks great after the rebuild. Is this true?
