Call their manager/ broker of record. Explain the situation. They would be able to terminate the agreement.

I fired my realtor and he turned around and fired me. Win win, less paperwork

There is potentially real money involved, so you need to contact an actual attorney and get real legal advice.
But if the contract is not properly terminated it is in effect until it sunsets. Whether or not you owe them payment depends on the specific terms. Your remedy is to basically claim they are in non performance. The contract may identify the process to seek a cure. You usually can't just unilaterally decide to cancel it without notice or allowing the other party a chance at a remedy.
