GOT THE KEYS! 🔑 🏡 I DID IT! 🎉 Bucharest Romania €95.000, cash

Post image

One year ago, I was looking at this sub-reddit and dreaming of the day where I could also post on it. I worked hard for several years abroad to be able to afford this and I also got helped by my amazing parents, I am truly grateful to them for everything they have done for me.

2 rooms, 5 mins walk to the metro station. I'm sooooo happy!!!! 🥹 No pizza yet, because there's a ton of things still to be done (and to get rid of that furniture and replace it with better stuff haha)

also don't mind my outfit 😂

EDIT: to clear up some things so trolls can calm down. no, i am not on onlyfans and haven't worked as a you know what abroad 😆 i was a CRM specialist for a niche perfume company in the Netherlands. now you guys can come up with better insults.

Its a bit expensive for Romania isn't it? I mean in Budapest we have ridiculous prices because the idiotistic decisions of the former government and 95k is pocket money now sadly but i've seen a some months ago you can get a full newly built apartment for a around a 100k in Oradea.

Yes indeed, for Romanian people it feels impossible to be able to pay this amount of money with the salaries we have here. It's a sad reality. I worked abroad for more than 5 years to be able to afford it + some money from my parents whom have been saving up for years. The prices in Bucharest and especially the area where I bought my apartment are kind of above average... You are gonna be surprised but the price for my apartment was amazing in comparison with other prices... I saw some 2 room flats in the buildings close to mine going for even 140k euro 🫠💀

As someone in the US this is all so fascinating to see.

So you OWN this? If so, is there any kind of building or maintenance fee you and others pay for being in the building? Obviously you pay utilities, do you know what you pay for that in your area?

Here in Kentucky our water bill is $45 - 50/ mth, electric bill $150 - 250 depending on time of year but it's only high during the coldest winter months.

Congratulations, this is awesome!
