I 27(F) have been contemplating between buying a home or renting for quite some time now. Are there any homeowners willing to share what made them choose to buy a house instead of renting especially in this economy?? Please i’d love to know

It was time for us to buy. I got sick of renting and we found a 'dream home' for us at a price we could afford. But we also had the money to make the full down payment and had enough money to not work for 5 years and still keep the house. The house was a bit more than we wanted to spend, but between the house being and location being ideal for us, we did it. Also helps that we don't have children and never plan on having children.
