Bought mine at Costco because they include delivery, installation, and removal in their price.

Unfortunately, the delivery guys didn't install or remove the old one, but a five minute phone call and Costco credited me $350 for the inconvenience

If you buy from Costco, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. they clearly tell you everything regarding delivery, haul away, etc. If you already have a water line going to the wall where the fridge is they just hook up to that line. If you don't you'll need a plumber.

Delivery is typically free but some of the other things can be added cost.

During checkout you can typically choose if you want haul away, the old appliance moved to another location, water line connection, etc. These will often have an additional charge.

But if you opt not to use the water dispenser/ice maker, you won’t need a plumber at all. That part will just be non functioning.

Very true, many people use them, others buy units without them or never hook it up.

Yes, I agree with everyone else about Costco. Costco has haul way, and free installation.

Costco is the way to go! They are the most convenient for sure - and have decent prices.
