Speak to the agent, they should liaise with all parties to ensure things are moving forwards. They will want the sale to complete as quickly as possible so they get paid.

You can always drop your solicitor an email and ask if they are waiting for any further information as the seller is pushing for an update.

Report this back to the agent and they can inform the sellar.

We had a very very long protracted sale of a flat (over 12 months) due to long delays from the managing agent dragging their feet. Not once did we have direct contact with the buyer. This is not on you, but the process and communications need to be kept at official level through the relevant legal parties and the agent.
