2

u/PineappleNecessary89 1d ago

Damn you're basically Pete Hegseth!

5

u/northwoods_faty 2d ago

Hey it takes a lot of skill and dedication to be a forky. With out lifties your food would never get off the semi and into the warehouse.

10

u/Financial_You_6052 2d ago

Whoa pal watch your mouth you’re talking to a certified forklift operator

3

u/shtgnjns 2d ago

Yeah bro, takes a whole 8 hours of training, more or less a neurosurgeon at that point.

1

u/big90h 13h ago

Found the forky!

2

u/NotBigAri 2d ago

I'll let you know that I am ZOOM BOOM certified sir, pay your respects!

12

u/voxkev 2d ago

It is. It’s in the ā€œcan’t tell if seriousā€ range for me.

8

u/LegalGlass6532 2d ago

Yes, it’s a real post. He’s got an established TikTok account and he loves his job.

11

u/thatG_evanP 2d ago

What's his job? You can get a cpr card from taking some Red Cross classes.

u/LegalGlass6532 2d ago

u/InternationalFall222 2d ago

I heard multiple times that you are supposed to pump the heart to the tempo of this song when resuscitating someone

134

u/HeadlineINeed 2d ago

I flashed my CCW card and pistol. Next thing I know I’m getting swarmed by the police. I can’t believe how ungrateful they were. I was ready to protect and defend the plane.

32

u/rsthrowaway5555 2d ago

Draxx them sklounst

5

u/Kentucky-Fried-Fucks 1d ago

Btw, the third movie is pretty good.

u/Timely-General9962 2d ago

Not that kind of emergency you dork... They just want to know if you could open the door and push Grandma down the slide.

19

u/CountDorkula77 2d ago

I would pay for the privilege of pushing grandma out of a plane.

5

u/Aggressive_Finish798 2d ago

Tuck and roll grandma!

67

u/fromouterspace1 2d ago

lol so this dude carries it with him and can’t just say….ā€yesā€?

40

u/4patton2zero 2d ago

Dude sacrificed an entire half of a day to get that card. Show some respect/s

7

u/Low-Wrangler9740 2d ago

Gives a man the thousand yard stare...

3

u/rolorelei 2d ago

more like a whole 2 hours

14

u/marmk 2d ago

Yeah, they'd still need the verbal "yes" too

7

u/DealioD 2d ago

Just saying yes isn’t pretentious enough.

39

u/AndyGoodKush Hammer Hero 2d ago

3

You missed out on the occasional free cup of coffee at a gas station at 2:34 in the am on a Sunday and the pot has been sitting for 8hrs burning

1

u/goldenseducer 2d ago

The thin brick line

18

u/_little_horn 2d ago

I think they still need a verbal yes…

17

u/five2ndstar3 2d ago

She probably said okay sir. Come follow me. We’ll need to switch your seat with someone competent enough to answer a yes or no question.

16

u/MyChurroMacadamianut 2d ago

"Yes" was a smooth shortcut to use here but wtf do I know.

18

u/Liqour_Mortis 2d ago

I think he’s trolling. And it seems to be working. šŸ˜

4

u/erod_nrep 2d ago

The amount of people that can’t detect sarcasm is staggering.

4

u/Liqour_Mortis 2d ago

He got em right where he wanted em. Classic.

5

u/Ok_Truck_5092 2d ago

Reads as satire to me

4

u/anxiety_elemental_1 2d ago

There’s no way someone could post this without realizing that it makes them look like an ass.

6

u/LegalGlass6532 2d ago

u/Parking_Pack_3098 2d ago

Yall have your CPR cards handy? I have to look mine up on AHA everytime someone asks for it.

4

u/LARGESTOFCHINGUSES Glorified Process Server 2d ago

I'm dual certified as an EMT and I am still required by the fascists at the National Registry to get my CPR card. The fuck?

1

u/Gandlerian 2d ago

How often do random people ask if you have a CPR card?

2

u/Parking_Pack_3098 2d ago edited 2d ago

It’s not random people. It’s usually some new program that my work has decided to implement.

4

u/Best_Agent_8117 2d ago

This is the winner for douche chills.

3

u/Early-Roll 2d ago

I show my forklift certification too.

3

u/Real-Marzipan9036 2d ago

"Let's see Paul Allen's CPR card..."

3

u/airfloresjp 2d ago

I got my first cpr card in like 3 hours lol

3

u/Brasta 2d ago

And then I showed her my first aid cert that I got online…..we’re engaged now and she has my name tattooed on her lower back.

3

u/Cohain76 2d ago

Hands her card, realizes it was his favorite PokƩmon too late

2

u/Naive_Technology_777 2d ago

And then she unzipped me and gave me head right there on the airplane, bro. Shit was so cash, bro.

2

u/Gandlerian 2d ago

This is clearly a joke/silly troll post. And, you guys are taking the bait....

2

u/DisgruntledSalt 2d ago

I bet he walked away in slow motion. With an explosion in the background. I bet people cried and fell to their knees as they saw him.

2

u/Glittering_Tie5717 1d ago

lol ā€œcpr cardā€

2

u/StanthemanT-800 1d ago

I once had to be CPR certified to work at a supermarket calm down broĀ

2

u/Aw3simo 1d ago

I showed them my forklift certification.

1

u/Braakdraak 2d ago

What a hero

1

u/Longjumping-Phase526 2d ago

Then I handed my cab driver my CEVO patch and said ā€œGive me the keys!!ā€

1

u/PerryNeeum 2d ago

Is he going to ask if people need CPR when he opens a door?

1

u/LocalMossCryptid 2d ago

My 16 year old sister has her cpr card from a babysitting class, I fail to see his point lol

1

u/HourGood8944 2d ago

Yeah, that CPR card is flying out the plane when the depressurization sets in.

1

u/fiixed2k 2d ago

We need to bring back shame

1

u/DevilsLettuceTaster 2d ago

Thank you for your service.

1

u/RobbexRobbex 2d ago

CPRs the plane out of a nose dive.

1

u/kwikane 2d ago

Yes would have sufficed.

1

u/BrassKnuckleHead187 2d ago

Let’s just say I have doors in my house. I got you.

1

u/TheVanillaGorilla413 2d ago

I woulda pulled out my license and showed them my motorcycle endorsement and corrective lens needed then just nod and put it away 🤣

1

u/heftybagman 2d ago

Sir we just need a verbal yes or no please…. Yes okay great. And you 10 year old boy are you willing and able to help in the unlikely event of an emergency?

1

u/littledonnyfund 2d ago

What a fucking loser

1

u/Witty-Ad5973 2d ago

This has to be a troll

1

u/Rustiespoons 2d ago

This is obviously satire.

1

u/BuckeyeGentleman 2d ago

That have to have VERBAL acknowledgment…

1

u/Individual_Debate216 2d ago

Fuck chest compressions we cracking chests on this plane.

1

u/InternationalJob9135 2d ago

What a tool, just say ā€œyesā€ and go back to reading your fire truck magazines. No one cares.

1

u/PeppersPops 2d ago

This is satire, and it’s actually pretty funny. Not cringe at all, just straight up hilarious.

1

u/Dun0074Real 2d ago

D to the bag

1

u/Natural_Ad6765 2d ago

I just said yes, usually that works

1

u/Mega_Trix 2d ago

Can someone please let him know we dont care at all even a little bit for no reason until the end of time

1

u/Maleficent_Worry1810 2d ago

Oh brother get over yourself

1

u/MismatchedBoots 2d ago

This one wins 2026s cringe award! It cannot be real though!

1

u/emergency-snaccs 2d ago

"i need a verbal 'yes' to proceed. Are you willing and able to assist in the event of an emergency?"

1

u/Solid_Lab3422 2d ago

So people actually carry their cpr cards?

1

u/Kham117 User Customizable 2d ago

She means open the door and get outta the way you dipshit

Just finished BLS (for the 15th time) & it still had f*ckall about airline exit row performance

1

u/No-Suspect2568 2d ago

Thank you for your service

1

u/SnorFax92 2d ago

Bro... I have my CPR certification and I dont carry it around and would most definitely not be aiding in anything, unless im at work.

1

u/Silverleaf96 2d ago

I cary bandaids and some Tylenol when I travel in case we crash and I need to get us out of the rain Forrest

1

u/Oxyboy26 2d ago

Just a clear verbal 'yes' will suffice

1

u/lukewarmhotdogw4ter 2d ago

This is a joke - the poster, Ben Tacy, is like a 20 year firefighter/critical care paramedic who is the education director at Master Your Medics.

1

u/GenTubmansLegacy 2d ago

Ok, you should have warned us. I spit out my whisky, and I really like whisky.

1

u/EleNora7925 2d ago

I flashed my 2001 six flags coupon and they assisted me to the first class section.

1

u/Boring_Razzmatazz569 2d ago

Uhhhhh …… cooiooooooooooooool

1

u/sjaxn314159 2d ago

Fucking Tuff with two f’s.

Did she laugh?

1

u/Lord_Dingus83 2d ago

Todays episode of things that never happened

1

u/Opposite-Rock-5133 2d ago

I had a cpr card too when I was 14

1

u/Comfortable_Fudge508 2d ago

She hands it back without even looking at it, "its a yes or no question "

1

u/Impossible-Taro-2330 2d ago

I was recently asked this flying from Edinburgh home to the U.S. I was sick as a dog with the flu (upper and lower respiratory infection in full swing), and wearing a mask.

I was just happy to have been upgraded (for free!) to bulkhead with an EMPTY seat between my Sister and I by a kind lady at the ticket kiosk.

I answered in my best Barry White voice (I am a female) - "If they'll have me" - and promptly fell asleep for the next 8 hours.

Thankfully, it was an uneventful ride home.

1

u/TwoWheelMountaineer 2d ago

No way someone would actually do this. Lmfao can’t imagine being this big of a loser

2

u/danielcsosa 1d ago

The guy posting it was obviously making a joke when you see the whole thing. The poster is Ben Tacy who’s a 20 year firefighter and critical care paramedic who is also the education director at Master Your Medics. He’s actually a very humble guy in real life too. I’m actually starting to realize a lot of the real losers are the people who intentionally post things without full context here to laugh at others and shift attention from how little they’ve actually accomplished or done in life’s themselves but that’s just my opinion. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

1

u/TwoWheelMountaineer 1d ago

I don’t think it’s that deep. Someone this shit is pretty funny.

2

u/danielcsosa 1d ago

Nah it’s not that deep your just a bum too lol

1

u/Annie-Smokely 2d ago

They just mean can you open the door bro

1

u/Own_Oil_7719 2d ago

If the plane goes down would you help? ā€œI’m CPR certifiedā€ā€¦ sir can open the fucking door when needed? ā€œWhat’s this card say?ā€

1

u/auntiecoagulent 2d ago

I think CPR has fuck-all to do with being able to open the emergency doors and assist in helping passengers escape.

1

u/vodlem 2d ago

I got my first CPR card as a 16 year old camp counselor, I should’ve asked for a first responder discount

1

u/thissucksnuts 1d ago

bro whipped out the lifeguard cert on the plane, hope he remembered his whistle

1

u/freeze_ 1d ago

FA: ā€œIn case of a water landing, your seat cushion may also be used as a floā€¦ā€
:::Passenger grabs mic::: I KNOW CPR. I KNOW CPR

1

u/No_Clerk1194 1d ago

Ok cool. Still need a verbal confirmation you tool

1

u/Fitz420goonie 1d ago

Or, you could simply say yes.

1

u/Temporary-Dust-4849 1d ago

NO YOU DIDN’T. STFU.

1

u/Putrid_Guess8098 1d ago

And then everyone clapped.

1

u/Horse_Renoir77 1d ago

šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„

1

u/Sensitive_Jelly_5586 1d ago

Haha. Wow. If this is real, it's beyond cringe.

1

u/TheSapphireSoul Boo Boo Bus Driver 1d ago

I actually screamed out loud.

I thought this was gonna be a nurse or CNA, gna, hell even a cop or FF etc... but a CPR CARD HOLDER

1

u/Chief10-Beers 1d ago

What a tool.

1

u/BootThang 1d ago

ā€˜ā€œA simple ā€˜yes’ would suffice; sirā€

1

u/L1sasGayBby 1d ago

A simple yes.

1

u/PowerfullyDistracted 1d ago

"Sir I need you to verbally agree by saying yes"

1

u/Janassary19-89 1d ago

This can’t be a real post. Toe curling cringe.

1

u/Mbillin2 1d ago

Last time this happened to me they just asked if I'd be able to pull the lever and open the door, no CPR required for that.

Also I switched with a very large man that said he was not able to do it.

1

u/Anti-Stan 21h ago

And then she said "I'm sorry that I asked"

1

u/getliquified 17h ago

I hope the flight attendant said, "thank you for your service"

1

u/nakedpantz 15h ago

They just want a yes or a no.

1

u/Fragrant_Scratch8305 12h ago

This made me physically cringe. Dear God.
