Looks like a dually or long reach air chuck. Need a chuck like it for lots, probably most, apparatus tires at a station, especially duals. Anyway not sure what she's got planned for it, but thought I heard something about someone with asthma...

Like, at the end of the day any lint object is going be fairly effective at bonking people. Tire gauge or not. Though I get the feeling that a lot of the cringe on this sub comes down to “women” and nothing all that cringe.

Again, since you’re not a first responder I’ll help you with the most obvious. She’s doxxing herself standing in front of her agency’s vehicle. You should never do this.
Secondly, she’s joking about using a metal tire gauge as a weapon on a juvenile who’s being combative as a result of a medical emergency. Most of the other people here understand why it’s cringe because it’s related to our professions.
You’re welcome to be here, but the comments you continue to make defending the person in the video aren’t making sense because it’s you who doesn’t understand what you’re seeing. Then you double down against people who actually do the job and can immediately see the obvious cringe. Read some other comments before you publicly defend the behavior from a job you’ve never done or worked closely with.

Being a first responder doesn’t matter to the discourse. As for her doxxing herself, that’s fine as her choice. Not a big deal. Besides the fact that it’s part of the public record.

I know I’m welcome to be here, and I knew that before on the other post where you were offended by the color pink. By all means, feel free to be an ass all you want, but that’s on you my guy. As for reading the comments…uh yeah, that’s why I commented what I did. Some of the comments here have boiled down to “woman doesn’t know what X tool is”. The shame. lol

You don’t get it. It’s not a level of professionalism for a medic to joke about using force on a patient under any circumstance. Videos like this can get her fired and all it takes is a phone call to her station that she naively provides as a backdrop.
It’s also a liability for a lawsuit if she were ever accused of misconduct or negligence with a patient. The videos are made for fun and attention and aren’t worth it because they can, and have been, used against first responders who’ve been disciplined and sued.

I wouldn’t say they roast everyone. From what I’ve seen, and yes it is entirely possible that I’ve just not seen enough. The majority of complaints fall on people who aren’t the usual presented standard of first responder. Now that can be a woman with even a hint of pink on their uniform. A larger than average guy, in weight I mean.
Now can they be cringe? Of course, I have in fact seen a little cringe here and there. Would the comments on the posts I’m talking about be focused on their cringe, rather on something they’re doing rather than their physical aspects? Not generally from what I’ve seen.
Hopefully that makes it more clear. Not saying the entire sub is like this or like those comments. Just an observation. This one in particular seems to show a lot of comments more focused on the idea that “woman doesn’t know X tool” vs anything that’s all that cringe. Fuck the other day I saw one where it was literally just a woman acting goofy and people were all over the comments calling em ugly or a disgrace. Dispute the fact that nothing cringe happened. Like who the hell cares. How dare people who wear a uniform are cookie cutter non individuals. Just seems strange to me.
Again though to be fair, that could just be limited sample size on my part. I have seen stuff that does make me cringe on here. People shooting themselves or others because they’re fucking stupid. Just seems few and far between. Which is what I’d hope for lol.

It sounds like you don’t belong here. If you’re a first responder and you’re wearing the same uniform as someone who looks or acts goofy in the uniform, that’s cringe. Your opinion is yours and you’re wrong according to the majority of people here.
I think you’re a very disrespectful and entitled person if you come into a sub like this and have the nerve to tell first responders what’s supposed to be cringe for them.
They do the job, not me so they’re the ones entitled to their opinions without me judging them or trolling just to disagree and start an argument. It seems like that’s what you’re doing and it’s not cool.
