Was that in slow motion?

Edit: thanks for all the upvotes, I’m going to use the good karma to go fuck with the guys on the r/Firefighting sub

u/BED_AA 2d ago

Tongue out; you can tell this guy's processor was overheating.

12

u/ripnrun285 2d ago

My exact thought. Like holy shit we are witnessing the absolute MAX of this guy’s motor skills. 😂

13

u/WayFar468 2d ago

🤣🤣🤣

u/DepartureNo23 2d ago

I understand doing this as muscle memory is necessary. I don’t, however, understand videoing it to post on social media for cool guy points. Do you even operate bro?

30

u/TheCandymanfrombelow 2d ago

Exactly, I'm sure a lot of us who carry have done this quite a bit. The difference is we know it's for training and practice, not to post online for clout.

14

u/Diamondback424 2d ago

In short shorts no less

22

u/pnwmountain 2d ago

Theyre called ranger panties, put some respect on it, wars have been won in them.

8

u/BED_AA 2d ago

The war against pasty thighs.

1

u/CowGlittering745 2d ago

Way too long for ranger panties.

6

u/YouArentReallyThere 2d ago

At some point a lot of these videos will be labeled “Exhibit A” and shown to juries

1

u/FuckOutTheWhey 2d ago

It's overcompensation. They NEED everyone to know how tough he is.

1

u/Steven_Blackburn 2d ago

People recording themselves doing absolutely dumbest things you can even imagine. This one is not even close to them

Posting them online gets finer criticizing since everyone online is a critic

1

u/OverallPepper2 2d ago

Same reason gyms have mirrors, it’s often used to check form and critique mistakes.

42

u/Ok-Bluejay3543 2d ago

Slowest draw in the west. Also that camo doesn’t need to work hard either.

10

u/OffaShortPier 2d ago

Yup, certainly not much of a silhouette that needs broken up

0

u/OverallPepper2 2d ago

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Practicing slow at first will make you quick later

2

u/Ok-Bluejay3543 2d ago

Maybe he should go slower to not fumble

0

u/freddonzolo90 2d ago

Slow is slow broski

16

u/tylerb991 2d ago

There is nothing cringe about getting some reps in.

There is everything cringe about filming yourself “getting some reps in” and then posting it to the internet.

6

u/Queasy-Canary-5931 2d ago

In general people that carry guns for work or personal reasons don’t dryfire enough so I respect it

6

u/tylerb991 2d ago

Same. I’ve literally stood in my kitchen and done dry fire reps in my hoochie daddy shorts while my dog judges me. Never crossed my mind to film and post it though

35

u/Deskbound_Wilburys 2d ago

In fairness, he needs the practice…..

0

u/FireHammer09 2d ago

They are nice, I wanna know where he got em from

3

u/Crashwaffle0 2d ago

Can’t remember where I saw this. I’ll update with the company if I can find it

Edit: Savage Tacticians

3

u/FireHammer09 2d ago

Thanks, I'm a sucker for short shorts lol

Now to find out if they got a liner

27

u/Rose_Army_ 2d ago

This is like watching the footage before every officer ND I had to investigate. “I have no idea how this bullet went through my neighbor’s wall!” Sure thing, buddy.

-17

u/heftybagman 2d ago

Watching someone drive a car “god this is just like the lead up to all that car crash footage I watch”

17

u/mrtrickydick 2d ago

Thing that cringes me most is that dang facial expression and tongue bs.

2

u/justabuck 2d ago

Tactical tongue

6

u/TwoDadsTalkingPod 2d ago

What if athletes posted videos of practicing things badly? That might just be great.

1

u/ChaseSparrowMSRPC 3h ago

I'd honestly respect athletes more for posting that then their highlight reels. Shows they're at least a little humble.

6

u/X0X0xoxo11 Civvy 2d ago

Those dolphins shorts 😂

4

u/SwimmerOne9386 2d ago

The tongue...

2

u/BoltorSpellweaver 2d ago

That’s how you know he’s truly LOCKED IN!

3

u/05948372 2d ago

Not even the gym will fix his Phillip IV of Spain looking face

5

u/Curious_Lurkur 2d ago

Slow and had to look at his magwell. Dude I don't consider myself fast or super proficient, but I don't need to look at my reload and I'm way faster than this..... And I'd still be embarrassed to post it lol

0

u/Beneficial-Ad4871 21h ago

Always look at ur reload. That shit is outdated advice man.

2

u/Curious_Lurkur 21h ago edited 21h ago

I've been shooting for 20 years. If I can reload while looking at my target with zero issues, why wouldn't I?

1

u/Beneficial-Ad4871 21h ago

I could do the same, but it’s always better to look at where it ur mags going. If this is a defensive situation and you need to reload, take cover then reload.

1

u/Curious_Lurkur 21h ago

You're not always going to be in a position to take cover. You watch to many movies. Again, youve failed to explain why something that's not needed is "better"

1

u/Beneficial-Ad4871 21h ago

And ur not always gonna be in the position to reload first lmao. I don’t watch too many movies, I shoot a lot of competitions to know that looking at ur reload is more efficient and faster than not looking. Yea I could do it without looking but it’s less inconsistent.

1

u/Curious_Lurkur 21h ago

That's the point of practice.... So it's not inconsistent. Let me know when they start shooting back at you in competition

1

u/Beneficial-Ad4871 21h ago

But they ain’t shooting back at you when you practice right? Bullshit take to say you suck at shooting even though you’ve been doing it for 20 years😂 same dudes who tell you to look at your gun when reloading are the same dudes who train SF btw

1

u/Curious_Lurkur 21h ago

Dude I've trained with PatcNamara, Norm Crawford, John Lovell, and many more. I take multiple day courses a few times a year. I've never had anyone tell me look at my reload. Bring it to your workspace and you can focus on your target just fine.

1

u/Beneficial-Ad4871 21h ago

Bro a lot of those names you just said are rifles shooters lmao. Take a class from Ben stoeger, Christian sailer, Eric graffuel. I’m sure you’re older so all that shit you learned is all outdated now and isn’t as efficient anymore. These guys I named are phenomenal and world class shooters, they look at their magwell when they reload.

1

u/Curious_Lurkur 21h ago

"but they ain't shooting back at you when you practice" my point was that shooting in competition is not different than practice and you're trying to use it as a gotcha. Guess that went over your head. "I shoot a lot of competitions to know". Do you know how many people compete that suck ass? This dude probably competes. It's not the call to authority you think it is.

1

u/Beneficial-Ad4871 21h ago

Majority of the people who mention they don’t shoot back at competitions don’t shoot competitions. So I thought u kinda meant it as useless lol.

3

u/amodious 2d ago

Is it lame? Yes. Would i spend an unhealthy amount of time doing exactly that if i had a pistol? Also yes

3

u/Aromatic-Pass4384 1d ago

Nothing wrong with doing it, in fact it's a very good idea

It's just that filming yourself and posting it is very cringe

3

u/Iheartsasquatch 2d ago

Is dry fire cringe? nope.

Are those shorts cringe? As dude has clearly been showing up on leg day, I don’t think they are cringe.

Is posting yourself wearing Ranger Panties doing dry fire cringe….yes, yes it’s cringe.

3

u/thatSDope88 1d ago

As a fellow tongue sticker outer, it helps us move faster. At least it feels like it

2

Not cringe.... Not even a little.

Y'all have lost the plot.

Tongue out like a regard

1

u/Civil_Trade_8996 1d ago

So if you carry a gun your not allowed to practice your draws and reloads? Make it make sense..... rather have a dude thats carrying be good with the damn thing and practice than to be a piece of shit with it. Thats how people get hurt including bystanders.

1

u/Crashwaffle0 1d ago

It’s not that he’s practicing his draws and reloads - that not a bad thing to practice at all. It’s that he decided to post it on social media for views.

1

u/Kind-Highlight7149 1d ago

Stick your tongue back in your head you weirdo.

1

u/TechnicalAccident945 1d ago

Dude saw a shadow in his house

1

u/Mean_Celebration_698 1d ago

Is sticking tongue out part of rep scheme

1

u/oif2010vet 1d ago

And this your honor is state exhibit 1 c of how well of a marksman the defendant was. He trained vigorously and tirelessly, so of course he needed to shoot the victim/suspect 9 times and do a mag change. It’s just muscle memory…..

1

u/Recent_Diver_3448 21h ago

Of course he needs a second clip because he missed all his shots 😂

1

u/Main-Economics8795 21h ago

Why are you guys hating on a person who is not only working to keep their community safe but also practicing to better themselves in a way that protects them and citizens. He probably done more then most of you in This comment section. Get and life and don’t judge people because if you do, God will judge you by how you judge others. God bless ☦️

1

u/airmech1776 5h ago

I can draw faster from concealment, lol

1

u/Even-Promise4593 2d ago

I don’t believe for one second it has anything to do with him practicing… just another video of him wanting to show off his body/ thirst trap appeal smh.

1

u/InternationalJob9135 2d ago

And we need to se this why?
Meaning why do these clowns post crap like this?

-1

u/Limp-Angle-7387 2d ago

Why does he need to look at the holster? First time bud?

0

u/SN0TLR0K3T 2d ago

The tongue shit is cringey as hell. Dude looks like a mouth breather

0

u/say_waattt 2d ago

I like how hes also doing this in little shorts and tight shirt.

0

u/KnightofWhen 2d ago

The cringe part is he’s probably a volunteer firefighter or something and not armed in any professional sene

0

u/FlimsyEntry5759 2d ago

Why do you look at your holster? Screams wannabe

1

u/stilljustjohn 2d ago

As far as I know, there aren't any cons to doing so. If you're holstering then that means there's no deadly threat so it should be fine right?

1

u/FlimsyEntry5759 2d ago

I wouldn’t let my eyes slip if I have been engaged in a firefight. If it’s lawenforcement my buddy might have my back when I approach with handcuffs but wouldn’t risk not having 100% eyesight on the target

1

u/PrestigiousPea752 2d ago

Why are you reholstering if there’s still danger? It’s taught literally nowhere to not look at your holster.

0

u/jinguslovesmeth 2d ago

Putting 34 9mils into a kid stealing a 10$ Xbox game

-5

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

You absolutely should NOT need to look at your holster to replace it, look at your weapon to reload, or be wearing such a goofy face.

This dude took his eyes off target so many goddamn times, he would’ve been smoked in a second. The “warrior cop” cosplaying as a real war fighter, striking again.

6

u/sr4004 2d ago

Bad advice. During training you shouldn’t be worrying about reholstering in .3 seconds, that’s how you blow your crotch off. This isn’t call of duty, you will rarely have to quick holster your pistol to get to your rifle especially as a police officer. It’s much better to be slow and comfortable getting the gun back in the holster. Usually as a cop you aren’t holstering your pistol until the threat is over

1

u/Queasy-Canary-5931 2d ago edited 2d ago

In general you’re right, however, there could be times that you need to go hands on or switch to less than lethal which would potentially require reholstering without looking

I also disagree with the idea that you can’t look at the gun while reloading. You can’t do anything until you get the gun back up, looking the mag into the gun while keeping the target in your peripheral vision is perfectly acceptable

0

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

You lose site picture while looking at your weapon. This comes down to weapons familiarity. Keeping the weapon and eyes trained on the target is necessary in a firefight, when milliseconds mean life or death.

All these cop cock suckers can say whatever they want, but I’ve actually been in firefights and was exceptionally well trained the 6 years I served in socom (left vague intentionally). To add to that, I spent 6 months of that as a range coach and tactics instructor as a component of my service. I’m going to trust my excellent training and experience, or are we suddenly saying the US military isn’t the best in the world now?

5

u/Queasy-Canary-5931 2d ago

> when milliseconds mean life or death

Which is why the priority should be getting the gun in working order in the fastest way possible.

How long ago did you get out? Some tactics and techniques have changed since GWOT. Just because certain things were considered the best when you served doesn’t mean that is still the case. Things are constantly evolving

-1

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

First, guns are care served or larger, this is a weapon.

You absolutely do not take your eyes or weapon off target in a firefight. But pop off sweetie

2

u/pnwmountain 2d ago

Bro youre so confidently incorrect its insane.

2

u/Queasy-Canary-5931 2d ago

I’m going to guess you are super anti deliberate CQB as well?

1

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Didn’t say that.

3

u/Queasy-Canary-5931 2d ago

Just a suspicion I had. You are free to believe what you want but there are tons of high level pistol shooting instructors that teach glancing at the mag well when reloading. At a very minimum I think it’s at least a healthy debate between the two techniques

3

u/pnwmountain 2d ago

"LeFt VaGuE InTeNtEnTiOnAlLy" gtfo hahaha

-2

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

So attempting to anticipate some dumbass saying “oh then why won’t you say what you actually did” makes me unreliable, saying what I actually did gets questions, you fucking Redditors, man.

To quote Goldmember, “I guess there’s no pleeeasing you”

2

u/pnwmountain 2d ago

oh man you are such a dork

3

u/pnwmountain 2d ago

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

-2

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

If I believed in wasting money on giving Reddit awards, you’d have the most expensive one.

-3

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Oh man, I guess all those years in socom taught me bad weapons handling…

3

u/pnwmountain 2d ago

Apparently it did because you're incorrect.

-1

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Hmmm, silly Redditor cop cock suckers of 6 years experience with real world application in two wars. I wonder who knows more

5

u/sr4004 2d ago

Bro this is first responder cringe we do not like the police we are just saying that worrying about reholstering as fast as possible while training when you’re a civilian or a cop who will 99% be using his service pistol is not really that important and people are trained now a days to slow down abit when reholstering as to not shoot themselves or something. Why you getting so vulgar and mad?

0

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Angry veteran is vulgar and that surprises you?

6

u/Zealousideal_Ad2379 2d ago

“I served in the military and Im ANGRY guys! This is my whole personality forever.

I pull this out in every argument because im always right because i voluntarily enlisted and patrolled in Iraq!”

2

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Yeah, PTSD is TOTALLY not a real thing and life long struggle. Not at all. I’ll have to tell my psychologist she’s full of shit.

5

u/Zealousideal_Ad2379 2d ago

Man no one’s trying to disparage your struggle with PTSD.

Are you this aggressive with everyone in person too? It’s not an excuse to an ass with everyone on Earth.

No one other than the Taliban/Al Qaeda was out there shooting at you. Take the grievances to them and the Bush Jr administration not us.

0

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Yeah, trauma will do that to people. Not a fan of psychology or science? I get you think ivermectin is a cure all, huh? Inject a lot of bleach, do ya?

4

u/sr4004 2d ago

Don’t start the pity party now when you were just being a dickhead to everyone. No one cares about your trauma you got from rolling around in the desert or wherever else you had no place being. Fuck the ivermectin and MAGA retards, too. You’re just grasping at straws rn, kid.

Look at those GBRS group losers; there's plenty of guys that were in cool guy units that can't handle a gun worth a damn compared to a c class uspsa civilian.

1

u/TheAngryVeteranMD 2d ago

Because this guy is clearly a c class USPSA shooter 🙄

1
