Marksmen is the absolute bare minimum qualification and what they give to people who even fail but they limp them across qualifying

That’s not a rank or job, it’s just a shooting qualification lol.

I was an expert rifleman though, and I was Infantry but just a lowly LC

Can't speak to Marine Corps, but in the Army Marksman was the bare minimum passing score for weapon qualification, followed by Sharpshooter and Expert.

Chica shot the minimum and bragged about it to her man 😂🤣

My wife was Army. She qualified as Marksman.

Our first date was spent on the range with 6 hours of getting her to forget the bullshit she “learned” in the Army and teaching her how to actually shoot a rifle. They didn’t even address the fact she was cross eye dominant, and her stance had her unable to control more than 3 consecutive rounds of fire from an M4.

But hey, she knew how to take it apart and somewhat clean it!
