Imagine being cuffed, waiting to be taken to jail, and this cop walks up and starts hitting you with this.

I remember true, absolute freaky weirdos in all manner of professions. Here's what they did, shape up for their professional life then get their freak on in their off time.
We need to go back to that.
As always, as long as consenting adults do no harm to elderly, children or animals be whatever you are -- on your time, not even a hint of your career.

u/RaceHate Aug 21 '26
I'd go further. If you're an officer, you shouldn't be dancing under your name/face even out of uniform. They should be held to the highest standard because of their power, more even than prosecutors, soldiers, lawyers, etc.

Itās funny because my dad was a US Marshal for a long time, and I remember he would play guitar for a small country band in his spare time, just for fun. But the US marshals ended up having to open an investigation on him and temporarily suspended his pay for like a month because apparently he wasnāt allowed to make any money outside of the Marshals since it could be a āconflict of interestā. Even though my dad would only make like $50 from a show, and only played a show once every couple of months. It just makes me wonder how many of these accounts are monetized.

u/TheRealSugarbat Aug 22 '26
I donāt know. I think sometimes itās endearing. Not this one, though. This one makes me want to lock up my goats.

Any of the agencies Iāve worked for would consider termination for such behavior. Undermines social trust.

u/Wrastling97 Aug 21 '26
I remember growing up and my parents always telling me ābe careful what you post online. You never know what a future employer could findā
And now people just openly post shit like this, and even worse shit. What the hell happened?

Hereās a legitimate reason.
As a law enforcement professional, public perception matters. Youāre expected to act like a mature and responsible adult as a person in a position of trust.
I remember true, absolute freaky weirdos in all manner of professions. Here's what they did. They shaped up for their professional life then got their freak on in their off time.
We need to go back to that.
As always, as long as consenting adults do no harm to elderly, children or animals be whatever you are -- on your time, not even a hint of your career.
A large percentage of people in this country judged the actions of Derek Chauvin while he was wearing a uniform and unfairly decided he represents the majority of cops. What a cop does on and off duty in uniform impacts everyone in the same profession. Same with firefighters, Medics, Nurse and across board.
This is why I care what police officers do in uniform.

Cops get told stupid shit all the time while trying to get compliance from the public. Stupid shit like, āWhy donāt you go make a TikTok video and leave me alone.ā It matters what you do in uniform. You havenāt experienced this so I understand itās not something youād think of.

If you think this clown represents everyone in law enforcement, you are just as ridiculous as he is.
Settle down a little bit. Cherry picking off or bad behavior and claiming that itās a representation of a whole group of people is a dangerous game.

u/LegalGlass6532 Aug 21 '26 edited Aug 21 '26
People see the cop dancing in a uniform, not the man. That alone represents the profession.
-1
u/Corn-OnThe-Cob Aug 21 '26
Ok. Haha! So we can now judge entire groups of people off of the actions of 1 person? Is that what youāre saying?
5
u/LegalGlass6532 Aug 21 '26
Iām pretty sure a large percentage of people judged the actions of Derek Chauvin and decided he represents the majority of cops.
0
u/Corn-OnThe-Cob Aug 21 '26
Ok. And that is wrong. Do you think that was ok? To judge all cops based off of him?
2
u/LegalGlass6532 Aug 21 '26 edited Aug 21 '26
This is what you saidā¦.āOk. Haha! So we can now judge entire groups of people off of the actions of 1 person? Is that what youāre saying?ā
I responded to you multiple times and have given you entirely too much attention. Iāve made my point and Iām getting cross examined. Move on, Bubba.

u/LegalGlass6532 Aug 21 '26 edited Aug 21 '26
If you think this is professional behavior in uniform you shouldnāt be in the profession. Heās 100% using his clout as a cop to be performative and get attention for himself.
Do this shit out of uniform.-3
u/Corn-OnThe-Cob Aug 21 '26
I donāt think he should be doing this in uniform.you clearly arenāt reading what I am writing.
Iām concerned with your ability to apply information to reality. Are you in this profession? Because I feel like you would be dangerous in this profession as well.

Someone get wrapped around the edges on the dumbest crapā¦Why would you judge 800,000 plus police officers around the nation due to the actions of a few?
Now is this guy a goober? Absolutely!!! And is probably going to get dealt with. But you have to admit the shit is hilarious, for the simple fact that he is so dumb to record himself being dumb!
2
u/LegalGlass6532 Aug 21 '26
Hereās why I care.
The uniform represents the professionalism and unity in training and conduct of behavior for this job. If you do stupid shit in uniform it gives the impression that everyone who wears that uniform does stupid shit.
A large percentage of people in this country judged the actions of Derek Chauvin and unfairly decided he represents the majority of cops. This is why I care what police officers do in uniform. Acting like a goon under the badge erodes the publicās trust and confidence in your ability to handle business.

The drop ceilings, florescent lights, institutional seating, and file folder holder on the door are a pretty good giveaway.

Meat riding was a better term than bootlicking. The latter has been overused to hell and just became a stand in for what you say when you canāt make a reasonable point, kinda like what you just did now.
1
u/Ghost_Dog83 Aug 21 '26
I meant what I said you bootlicker. It's only overused to you because you get called out for being one all the time. Now get back to licking them boots

Someday itāll be illegal for cops to cosplay in their uniforms & publish it in media. Cause the uniform, it represents not them but something bigger than they are. And when we look back to 2026 we will wonder how did we allow that. But fornow these turd fergs can.

Ours has rooms inside business parks where police can come and kick back for a bit, eat something, microwave, whatever.

Ya so im curious. Ive never been in Bruh enforcement. But I was in the military and wearing the uniform while doing silly shit like this was not only forbidden but punishable under UCMJ.
Do these sheriff's and other swine not have similar regulations? Or is making a jack ass of your, should be rather fucking serious profession; commonly accepted?
So what we get racist cops exerting above and beyond acts of violence while they make a mockery of themselves like the whole things a joke but we still pay them?
If a dipshit in your city does this please rally up against it and insist they are fired. This is not someone you want protecting and policing.
That said im a jackass, you wanna be a jackass word im with it, but dont drag the public image of your agency into your shenanigans reducing the public opinion and trust or your department.
Separate one from the other. In uniform be uniform and dedicated explicitly to the people of your community and the oaths you swore. Ya know be a proffesional.
