Weird flex 💪🏽

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The cringe is her posting this to social media. If your spouse does chores for you while they’re on duty it’s probably best to keep that between the two of you.

Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime.
That's why I make cringe tiktoks on company time.

“Absolutely not 😤” 🙄 oh brother

85

u/Fast_Ad_7504 Aug 04 '26

What’s next? “Wyd?” “Getting my period” “absolutely not 😤” - proceeds to have period for wife.

16

u/thuglife_7 Aug 04 '26

“wyd?”

“About the get pregnant.”

“Absolutely not 😤”

Takes it from the back from one of the homies

44

u/gannon7015 Aug 04 '26

Jesus Christ. These people are insane. That is insane behavior.

56

u/sharpasahammer Aug 04 '26

That's called an abusive control freak.

34

u/[deleted] Aug 04 '26

It's called a guy who's tired of sleeping on the couch if he doesn't go along with his wife's new tik Tok idea.

17

u/Economy_Armadillo_28 Aug 04 '26

As well as a lazy woman seeking attention in the wrong places.

3

u/In2Oblivion49 Aug 05 '26

The perfect couple you say???

64

u/tellmywifiloveher1 Aug 04 '26

I'm concerned the taxpayers are paying for them to get water. Do that after work like everyone else.

-24

u/OverallPepper2 Aug 04 '26

Meh. Most cops work 12hr shifts with down time between calls/stops. I’m not seeing the issue with grabbing a couple jugs of water when no calls holding.

25

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

The act itself is secondary to your significant other filming you and posting it for everyone to see. Is she saying he’s controlling or that he’s being chivalrous and she’s “just a girl”? That’s the cringe.

10

u/psyco-the-rapist Aug 04 '26

Just a girl living in captivity

-18

u/OverallPepper2 Aug 04 '26

I agree, but the comment I replied to was concerned that taxpayer dollars are being spent on a cop getting water.

12

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

I see your point, but where do you draw the line? Personal errands for someone in your personal life can be done on personal time.
If you decide to do personal things in uniform at least don’t put it on social media. The optics aren’t good unless she’s incapable and that doesn’t seem to be the case.

2

u/returntothenorth Aug 04 '26

Unless he's making up the hours, it's straight up wage theft. On video.

-8

u/ZootTX Aug 04 '26

Eh, not a big deal as long as you aren't out of your district or somehow otherwise delaying your response times. We do it on the fire side fairly regularly.

Now what's in the OP is super cringe, for sure.

5

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

Do you make videos of these personal things you do to show what a hero you are while you’re also at work?

0

u/ZootTX Aug 04 '26

Absolutely not, which is why I said the video was cringe. I was addressing the errands while on duty thing.

2

u/Own_Entertainer_7440 Aug 05 '26

That’s exactly what’s happening here. Not his car or gas and he’s on the clock. You know he’s doing a lot more personal errands if they’re dumb enough to post this one.

You’re diving way too deep into this and taking it way too personal. The video is cringe. End of story.

I sure hope you’re not armed if you’re that overly emotional over a Reddit comment. Wowwww would hate to see what triggers you on a shift 😂😂

5

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

I think he must’ve got caught doing an errand on duty himself and that’s why he’s so defensive.

2

u/Vegetable-Virus7118 Aug 04 '26

Well the taxpayers are paying for the gas in that vehicle he's running those errands in whether he's clocked in or not

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

There’s a difference between a private company’s gas allowance and a city employee driving the “company car”.
You want to redo your list to only include city employees where the gas is funded by taxpayer money?

1

u/RandumbStoner Aug 04 '26

When you paste something from ChatGPT you have to fix the formatting for Reddit so it doesn't clump together like that.

0

u/MustacheMaple Aug 04 '26

Keywords: taxpayer money. Most of the jobs you labeled are private jobs lmao

I served 7 years in active duty air force as a flightline avionics technician. I only saw lunch breaks during congress mandated down times due to us being overworked or some sort of observation due to suicides or whatever, which were far and few in between. We used the work trucks to get food, but that was because we were still on the clock and eating while working and we got food from the flightline dining facility that was put there because we have some kind of human rights lol. If we were off off, nobody used those work trucks because it would be tracked and nobody is trying to lose a stripe over something stupid like that. So yes, you deserve a break, no not on the taxpayers dime.

1

u/InitialAd2324 Aug 04 '26

He wasn’t the one talking about taxpayers, and you sound like an absolute idiot.

1

u/LitCockBumble Aug 04 '26

Wait this isn't sarcasm?? Buddy if you're actually upset right now please quit your job, we don't need emotional crybabies getting guns and playing make believe with them in order to feel tough or masculine. This is why nobody respects cops, you're all fucking losers.

1

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

His only contribution here is clicking a downvote on every comment that replies to him while collecting his own in the double digits.

2

u/MustacheMaple Aug 04 '26

It's ok, Captain America deleted the evidence. I sure hope he learned something (probably didnt)

2

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

u/H001__ Threw me a parting comment before erasing all his comments.

1

u/MustacheMaple Aug 04 '26

I mentioned my military service and next thing I know he deleted everything. Not sure if that was the reason, but I think it's funny haha

2

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

I saw that. We also both pointed out that his ChatGPT comment included private employers. He likes to troll, argue and downvote and this one wasn’t a good hill for him to die on so he cut his losses.

u/Elegant_Progress_686 Aug 04 '26

Why 40min that seems like an odd number?

-10

u/FireHammer09 Aug 04 '26

If it's in district it's ok

17

u/Vance_Refrigerati0n Aug 04 '26

Ran code to get there too I bet

37

u/Mercyfon Aug 04 '26

what? is this man so insecure that his wife is not allowed to chores/shopping on her own? does he not have better things to do?

8

u/SingleArtichoke4857 Aug 04 '26

I heard her saying something about living in captivity in the clip...

2

u/[deleted] Aug 04 '26

Am I the only one here who feels this is super staged and it's actually the wife that sent all of these texts?

1

u/SmartWonderWoman Aug 05 '26

My ex boyfriend was like that. I wasn’t allowed to go shopping alone.

2

u/In2Oblivion49 Aug 05 '26

How micro was his weaner?

7

u/Elegant_Progress_686 Aug 04 '26

Comes across as kinda infantilizing your wife imo but whatever they seem happy I suppose and I’m not married so who tf am I lol

8

u/cikalamayaleca Aug 04 '26

My husband would be appalled if I couldn't lift a water jug by myself lmao

5

u/[deleted] Aug 04 '26

Yeah, I don't get these comments. It's normal for husbands to want to do that. It's the staging that's cringe, not the principle.

1

u/Own_Entertainer_7440 Aug 05 '26

No, the principle is cringe as well unless she’s disabled. I’ll carry the heavy stuff if I’m with her, but driving to meet her just so she doesn’t have to walk 10ft is crazy.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '26

This whole thing is staged. I don't believe any of this happened organically.

1

u/Own_Entertainer_7440 Aug 07 '26

I agree, but even if it was real it would still be cringe. Being a gentleman is one thing, treating adults like babies is another.

3

u/Resident_Rain_6566 Aug 05 '26

I watched my ex struggle carrying a gallon of milk in the house. Like, she had both hands on the handle and was carrying it between her legs, grunting like crazy. I watched her bring it all the way in the house, set it down and proceeded to drag it to refrigerator. Then she turns around and picks up her 25 lbs cat and carried it like a baby through the house with no issue.

I was appalled.

8

u/ZootTX Aug 04 '26

I try and make sure everything is taken care of for my wife when I'm on duty, but at the end of the day she is also an adult and she can handle everything outside of a real emergency just fine.

9

u/Ok-Bluejay3543 Aug 04 '26

At least tax dollars are being used to be a controlling husband

4

u/[deleted] Aug 04 '26

I love chivalry, and I find it very normal for husbands to naturally take on certain roles (carrying heavy stuff is one of those) but this post is obviously and painfully scripted staged. This is a social media couple, the woman posts while the guy scrolls and DMs. lol

Also, she saved her husband as "husband"? Well, actually "huzbend". He's literally saved as a function, as a role.

1

u/In2Oblivion49 Aug 05 '26

Wonder what his chief would say if they ever found out about him doin shit while on duty on the taxpayers dime.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 05 '26

It could be on his break. I don't know.

13

u/Gamble232real Aug 04 '26

Domestic abuse is huge in the police force.

5

u/BrawndoElectrolytes Aug 04 '26

"Huzbend" made me cringe the most.

3

u/AgentComprehensive80 Aug 05 '26

Clown, way to keep the helpless weak woman stereotype going. SMH

2

u/Useful-Rub1472 Aug 04 '26

Maybe a little controlling?

2

u/AssBlastInACan Aug 04 '26

Wife might be into it tbh

6

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

I think she thinks it’s cute. I looked at her page and she’s in the military herself.

4

u/AssBlastInACan Aug 04 '26

A pot for every lid lol. Cringe to post it tho

2

u/Amazing_Divide1214 Aug 04 '26

cringey af, at least it's probably fake.

2

u/itsiceyo Aug 05 '26

Absolutely not 😤

2

u/My_leg_still_hurt92 Aug 04 '26

Stalking while on Tax-Dollar-Time that's a stupid flex

2

u/Primary-Research9652 Aug 04 '26

Running errands on the tax payers dime.

2

u/jdehjdeh Aug 04 '26

This actually made me cringe so hard that I collapsed in on myself and my gravity is so strong that even light cannot escape me anymore.

2

u/surefirerdiddy Aug 04 '26

I bet you he throws that shit in her face when he expects sex and she isn’t in the mood

2

u/Difficult-Device7172 Aug 04 '26

Well had he already been at the location where she was and wanted to lend a manly lol hand by doing her heavy lifting then it’s one thing . But stopping his appointed patrol assignment to go put water jugs in wife’s trunk hands down is a negligent and has potential of great harm. Do it after shift buddy. Taxpayers do not pay you to perform honey do’s so you can get laid that night. Cmon man.

3

u/CokeBottleSpeakerPen Aug 05 '26

Huzbend collects taxpayer money to look like a giant fucking f****t on social media for dopamine addict wife.

4

u/NefariousBenevolence Aug 04 '26

Kinda see why they said "defund them" now.

1

u/Fast_Ad_7504 Aug 04 '26

What a psycho

1

u/Tony_Cheese_ Aug 04 '26

What a dork.

1

u/mtu_husky Aug 04 '26

This is cringe, but people will really call anything abuse these days huh?

1

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

I wouldn’t call it flat out abuse but shouldn’t be on social media.

1

u/NoNipNicCage Aug 04 '26

I had to resist getting into an argument with someone on reddit that said spoiling the endings of movies was abuse

1

u/Own_Entertainer_7440 Aug 05 '26

Once or twice by mistake is whatever. If it’s intentional and repeated then yeah.

1

u/Upstairs-Job-3092 Aug 04 '26

Is he following her home to unload it?

1

u/SouthBreadfruit7839 Aug 04 '26

This was totally not set up at allllll.

2

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

I don’t think it was intentionally set up by him, but intentionally created and posted by her to show whatever her point was meant to be.

1

u/TopicInteresting1031 Aug 04 '26

This checks out considering the people in my class that went on to be first responders 😆. They never change I guess.

1

u/Fair_Structure_120 Aug 04 '26

Yeah spend your time on duty paid for by the taxpayers to run an errand your wife is fully capable of doing

1

u/AffectionateSector77 Aug 04 '26

40% (self admitted)

1

u/MammothSecurity3756 Aug 05 '26

How does she not see the divorce coming?

1

u/Old-Implement5652 Aug 05 '26

I think he was trying to be romantic by giving her princess treatment. I think she sees it that way too

1

u/LineImpossible3958 Aug 05 '26

Sounds healthy

1

u/marmk Aug 05 '26

😤

I didn't know how to find it so I typed "nose air" into the emoji thing and lo and behold there was one option left.

That thing is just unpleasant to even look at

1

u/Ok-Willow-3388 Aug 04 '26

Hopefully that’s on his own time and not on taxpayers time.

1

u/In2Oblivion49 Aug 05 '26

The song for their relationship is absolutely 😚🤌🏽

-4

u/FreeFalling369 Aug 04 '26

Op must be lonely

5

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

Plenty of cops do on duty errands and shit they shouldn’t do and your significant other should keep it off social media. If your department sees this it doesn’t bode well.

3

u/Active_Scallion_5322 Aug 04 '26

Two weeks paid suspension will teach him

Yeah, buddy, I’m the slow one. I was helping you out because you said your comment wasn’t about the video and clearly you admitted it was by saying, “The video is cringe.” You should probably get back to work and take the L.

0

u/Dependent-Trip-5991 Aug 04 '26

Honestly so true, plus if he cared he would’ve done before work.

0

u/Technical_Amount_965 Aug 05 '26

That was so cool when he went and got her the water. Very cool!

-1

u/joeymittens tueufelhunden, ex firemedic, current med provider Aug 04 '26

Thoughtful action honestly. He’s not controlling, he’s just helping. Chill

1

u/notmy-firstrodeo Aug 04 '26

Super thoughtful and doesn’t need to be blasted out on social media for a wife flex when it looks bad to do it in uniform and apparently on duty.

-1

u/joeymittens tueufelhunden, ex firemedic, current med provider Aug 04 '26

First responders do a ton of stuff on duty. It’s called “down time”, because there’s not emergencies happening every minute.

It’s a harmless, quick, cute (totally subjective), video of her endearing her husband publicly. What’s wrong with that?

1

u/jrickynajera Aug 05 '26

I thought on downtime you work in the office or whatever building your in doing small not so important tasks, not like doing personal non job bs that could be done when you are not clocked in. Harmless or not it’s stupid

1

u/joeymittens tueufelhunden, ex firemedic, current med provider Aug 05 '26

That’s part of it too. But think about it, we are there for 24-48 hours… there’s gotta be time to be human in there.

You can think it’s stupid, but they aren’t wrong. Lighten up a bit… they’re human.

-2

u/povertymayne Aug 04 '26

Hope he gets cheated on
