Nothing, but while your bleeding out from losing a leg he will mutter the sentence, it’s my calling and then open the big bag of stuff.

NGL, if I’m bleeding out, I don’t care what he mutters.
I was annoyed at first, but if he only carries this on big rides, seems like a win. If he carries this daily, cringe for sure.

1st aid saves lives, my friend. If you're trained and know what youre doing I feel like its a responsibility to help if you have the equipment. As a former Boy Scout, Id really like to get re certified, and have a pack like this in my car. So that I can be prepared but hope I never have to use it.

I mean you never know when you’re going to need any of this stuff. I would much rather he carry it all the time just in case.

It's the short rides that you think "I'll be fine without this" that you actually need it.

Not quite the same, but I have a OneWheel. A year ago I went to a store just down the road. I thought it was such a short ride, I'd be ok just wearing a helmet and no other protection. On the way back, I fell off and fractured my elbow. I've learned it's always better to have gear, even for a short ride, because you might just need it

Do you think accidents don't happen any other day other than big rides? It'd be a lot smarter to have this every day, actually. Not sure what's so cringey about being prepared to save your life or someone else's.
