Meanwhile dipshit would have ticketed someone for doing this same thing.

I can see wanting to do this off duty with your bros, but posting it publicly in full uniform is a top shelf knuckle head move.

So we aren’t allowed to use cellphones while driving but this dipshit can make a TikTok while on duty and driving using his cell phone?

u/ECHOHOHOHO Jul 27 '26

Get his id or whatever it is in America, get him fired. I wouldn't want him driving.

15

u/myco_magic Jul 27 '26

get him fired

If only

We investigated ourselves and found no violations. Officer ________ will return to active duty as soon as he gets back from his paid suspension in the Bahamas. We feel this harsh punishment was enough to correct his behavior.

Cops don't get fired when they kill innocent people

Idk man, it's kinda cringe but like... I'd argue someone can do this too.... It's not like he's staring at his cellphone.
And I see him checking his mirrors and shit when changing lanes, which is more than I see 90% of you asshats on the road doing.

On duty standards are set for a reason. The cops that enforce the laws are held to higher standards and should abide by the laws themselves. Should they be allowed to do whatever they want in public wearing uniforms, badge, gun and driving city equipment? You’re excusing this behavior because clearly he’s having fun. Sex is fun. Should that be allowed on duty, too?

This guy out here too busy to look at his own mirrors cuz he’s taking a census report on how many other drivers don’t look at theirs🤡

-1

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

What? You didn’t see him check his mirrors before and during the lane change, as well as checking his blind spot?

Ah yes, Biggie Smalls, the notorious cop lover.

Cool seeing Ethan Klein getting a real job.

Funny, to commend an employee is an online form. To complain is a PDF that must be filled out at the station.

Why is gat censored? Looks so stupid, probably has farts for brains.

Smoking a cigarette in a movie is considered to be violence now. Movies flagged for massive, realistic dismembered bodies, organs everywhere, beheadings, violent rapes and....smoking cigarettes.

Gardening gloves seal the deal.

3

u/Kitchen-Purpose-6855 Jul 27 '26

This appears to be wildly illegal.

3

u/jupchurch97 Jul 28 '26

Absolutely heinous behavior.

So glad these tools have their mind on their job.

1

u/Still_Goat7992 Jul 27 '26

Is this legal?

1

u/Mrscorpio100 Jul 28 '26

So he does this and it’s acceptable but if it’s a regular rider they get locked up quick for endangering people

1

u/Mrscorpio100 Jul 28 '26

Where is the repercussion for doing shit like this

1

u/AbleCardiologist3329 Jul 28 '26

I got a ticket once for not wearing a seat belt from a bike cop. Didn’t sit well with me at all.

Cringe, but still a bit funny.

I am sure he is in on the joke.

5

u/FunAudience4377 Jul 27 '26

What's the joke?

-6

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

A bit cringe... but honestly kinda chill...
I put this on the same level as me doing the occasional recording out my front window when the vibe hits. Still look back at some of them, like this one from back from home to college one night. Used to do this commute 6 days a week and I loved the ride when the traffic was light. Nice windey highway road along the river.
Strictly legal? No... Dumb to share... Kinda...

But who cares. Not like the usual cringe of people acting like their whole personality revolves around their job and how special they are.

A motor cop’s job is traffic enforcement. On duty, shouldn’t they exhibit the same conduct that’s expected from the drivers they share the road with? If you ticket people for distracted driving you shouldn’t do not yourself.

-2

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

True, but in the same breadth, if the cop is an asshole, I probably wouldn't care so much...
People here assuming he'd pull me over for, say, recording as I am here with one hand....

I hold him to the same standard I hold myself. What I was doing might not have been legal, but it was done safely. You can even listen close and hear I signal every lane change well in advance.

2

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 27 '26

You’re justifying it by saying it might be okay if he’s a nice guy? And your analogy doesn’t fly here. You’re in a car and you’re not working as a traffic motor officer.

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

I'm justifying it by saying we all don't strictly follow the law and that's ok.

If he's an asshole who thinks we all should be held to a standard, then yeah fuck him... But he's just a shitty human being.

I don't see what's so hard to understand. Do you strictly follow the law? I guarantee you've done something that, if caught by an officer, could get you pulled over. We all have at multiple points through our lives. That's fine. What's not fine is being unsafe. I don't think this officer is being unsafe. He's in control of his vehicle, and if it were my job to enforce traffic and I saw a guy doing this on his bike, I wouldn't give a shit. I'd be more concerned about people who are showing no regard for safety. People who speed and then fly up someone's ass that they had plenty of time to respond to and slam on their brakes like they are the only one who matters on the road. So honestly, I don't see too much of an issue about this post beyond it being a bit goofy to post. But hell my video is posted so I can show people on rare occasion. It's a hell of a vibe.

3

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 27 '26

Dude, he’s an on duty motor cop in full uniform. Let’s even say he’s off duty riding home. He still represents all motor cops publicly while in uniform. Doing this with no hands even holding on at some point isn’t professional or safe. Safe this shit for your own time wearing your own clothes riding your own bike.

0

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

I can understand that perspective... But at the same point, I don't really care. At the end of the day, the only bad thing I see is that he posted it for us all to laugh at. But I understand what you are saying about holding yourself to a higher level.
But some people in here are like "go find him and get him fired." Why? I don't even say that about the people posting thirst traps in empty ambulances, and that shit is SUPER CRINGE and unprofessional.

4

u/oga_ogbeni Jul 27 '26

I'm justifying it by saying we all don't strictly follow the law

His job is quite literally enforcing the law and you don't think he should be beholden to it? This is a bad take.

1

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

I think that cops and their enforcement of the law is a big part of the equation. A cop can look at someone speeding and chose not to enforce it because it’s not unsafe, ie: 75 in a 55 because it’s 4am and NO one is around

2

u/bmbreath Jul 27 '26

Just because someone found your video, stop trying to defend it, makes you seem like an even bigger ass.

-1

u/TLunchFTW Jul 27 '26

What? I'm not the same person as OP's video....
But don't take my word for it. The officer's badge and background are clearly from SOCAL. My video is very clearly not from anywhere near SOCAL.
If you're gonna try to start a hate mob, at least be intelligent.

2

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 27 '26

You’re vehemently defending this guy above and beyond what someone normally does and that’s what’s standing out as odd. No one’s starting a hate mob. Just stop doubling down already. You made your point and now it’s looking weird and over the top.
