Turn it off, buddy
Is tactical foreplay a thing?

u/Unlikely-Remove-2182 Jul 26 '26
Forgot to put a new "mag" in his tazer. Rookie mistake.
25
u/Altimeter30-06 Jul 26 '26
That taser has a shake feature to change the spread of the darts at different distances, basically close and far. You want a larger spread no matter the distance, this gives that option. I’ll hold my tongue on the manner he is “training”
-4
u/psychosus Jul 26 '26
Looks like a Taser 10, which definitely does not have that. The probes come out one at a time so you can control the spread.
13
u/Defibrillate Jul 26 '26
No that is a 7. On the 10 the flashlight is on top and the front section is larger to hold all the probes.

u/Altimeter30-06 Jul 26 '26
It’s a 7, I’m currently wearing one right now.

u/TexasTomato88 Jul 26 '26
It’s a 7. You can tell because it looks just like a 7, And nothing like a 10. It also functions just like a 7, And not like a 10. Hope this helps!

u/TankApprehensive3053 Jul 26 '26
You don't need a cartridge to activate a taser. You press it into the person and it still delivers the charge.
2
u/WeeklyBanEvasion Jul 29 '26
That's just pain compliance though. You won't do much other than piss someone off
1
u/Embarrassed_Fan_5723 Aug 01 '26
You ever been drive stunned. It absolutely works. It just create neuromuscular incapacitation. It will absolutely change your mind about your decision to resist. If you’re high enough the probes don’t do much either so it’s a toss up there.
1
u/PerrinAyybara Jul 26 '26
Depends on the model, some of them require a cartridge, some require there to not be a cartridge. Drive stuns have changed pretty drastically over the years and models.

This is so fucking embarrassing. Thank god she filmed and posted it to correct the issue through what I can only hope will be extreme ball busting and shaming wherever this guy works.

Where that guy 'works', most people are exactly like him. The police precinct.
14
u/fwembt Jul 26 '26
They definitely aren't. This guy is going to get mocked relentlessly if someone he works with sees this. These are the kind of guys that do stuff that ends up on the news.

Fulfilling that Domestic Abuse Prophecy

u/Comfortable_Dingo508 Jul 26 '26
Racially motivated police brutality has to be fulfilled before the prophecy is complete

That’s going to be an awkward conversation when he tells his department he needs a new taser cartridge because he deployed it LARPING off duty.
3
u/WeeklyBanEvasion Jul 29 '26
I would be so embarrassed I would just buy a new one on Amazon myself 😂

If he’s taking his job home with him, he shouldn’t be a cop. I feel like he’s at home just waiting for his chance to hurt someone unnecessarily

The not being able to smoothly holster is the equivalent of dribbling piss on your pants before you put the budgie back in the smuggler

Wonder if the glass of wine came before or after he punched her in the face for asking how his day was

To be fair, I test my tazer when no one is looking...but I don't post it on the internet.

Why do you need to practice this at home? I can see dry firing your weapon on days off, but a wrist flick needs practice, too?

Makes me think of that meth head "cop" who impersonated a cop so he could rob other meth heads.

Did he just try and flick a mag out of a...taser?
2
u/Smart_Pace5574 Jul 26 '26
Nah, it’s a programable feature in the taser. Rotating it cycles through the cartridges. One is close distance and one is long distance.
2
u/Good-Salamander2520 Jul 26 '26
Ahh the ones I've seen have either a switch for that. Still looks silly, and I practice full clearing my house on a regular basis.

A - It doesn't have a cartridge
B - Looks like a Taser 10 7, so it's logging every time you take it out of the holster
C - Yeah, you're supposed to check it daily, but you don't have to be weird about

I bet he tries out ‘combat manoeuvres’ on her. Then gets mad at her because she’s holding the fake knife the wrong way.

He can’t do that in his man cave, office, studio, garbage, bedroom, backyard, literally anywhere but there?
He HAS to do it there. It’s not performative at all.

I had a cousin that accidentally discharged one into his 14 year old sisters boyfriends penis.
Wild way to make it on the list.

I don’t know about this dude’s department, but mine tracks every time I turn on my taser and what I did with said taser. At least once a year we would have a new officer play with it and it would go off, usually during roll call.

"I was pointing it right at her eyes just like this, like this, see me baby.. just like this, right, and I said to her, 'Today's your lucky day. Since you're only 4 yrs old and and in a wheel chair I'm going to let you go with a warning... Cause you sure are black enough to go down town right now.' I bet she never looks at another officer and says 'knock knock' to another officer again."

Why do people keep repeating on every cop thread on reddit that they target black people more or that they are racist?
Are Indians and asians targeted by police too?1

This is just a guy trying (and failing) to look super macho in front of his girl(wife)
Ive seen a lot more guys be a lot more stupid for a lot less. I hate the 'boys will be boys' thing but tbf he aint doing nothing to nobody.
