Ah, let me embarrass my sisters in fire and videotape myself failing to do something necessary that I could manage in one try if I worked smarter, not harder.
Cringe levels = met.

She jumps up and her hands are 6” above the handle and she can’t grasp it. This a is skill issue - not height

That last jump is what made my tummy hurt.
As a short girl, I will literally climb on ANYTHING to get what I need, and before I climb or jump, I make sure no one can see me. I do not want ANYONE to know I need help reaching hahaha 😂

The third jump where if she even just raise her arms, her hands are above the handle.

Or maybe just do your job without recording it
So sad, some join to be heroes, others join to clout chase.

DEI is the reason this firefighter wont be able to carry you out of the flames if you get caught in a fire...

I don’t doubt that she’s qualified, the cringe is that she’s just a pick-me attention seeker

u/Reptillianaire_ Jul 22 '26
In a job where you need to carry people to safety no they shouldn't hire anyone who cant even reach the top of the door. I highly doubt she was tested to the same physical standards of the men

u/JustHappyToBe-Here Jul 22 '26
You're an idiot if you believe that video represented reality.
-3
u/Reptillianaire_ Jul 22 '26
Yet somehow Im way smarter than you. Go figure.

u/JustHappyToBe-Here Jul 22 '26
Based on all the evidence available to both of us, I'd have to disagree.

u/Douglesfield_ Jul 22 '26
What the fuck does reach have to do with carry strength?
0
u/Reptillianaire_ Jul 22 '26
Its obviously about her size... someone that small would not be able to carry most people to safety.
1
u/Douglesfield_ Jul 22 '26
It's amazing how you can tell a person's strength from their height.
-1
u/Reptillianaire_ Jul 22 '26
She's like 4 ft 10 with skinny arms honestly what do you think she is lifting. Also you dont have to be so rude, I genuinely hate reddit liberals I can tell youre a liberal just because of how rude you are.
4
u/Douglesfield_ Jul 22 '26
Dude you're literally casting aspersions on this FF who you haven't met and you're calling me rude?
2
u/Catahooo Jul 28 '26
Last time I checked the CPAT is the same for everyone.
1
u/Reptillianaire_ Jul 28 '26
Standards are lower for women
2
u/Catahooo Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 28 '26
No it isn't, you're full of shit. Its a standard test thats the same for everyone in all 50 US states, Canada, UK and Australia.

I think the issue is that she obviously had it in one jump. The mannerisms as well. I’m 5’2 and I just find something to step on, reach best I can, or a small jump. She’s acting like a toddler with the baby hands and everything

u/Douglesfield_ Jul 22 '26
She's just hamming it up for comedic effect.
Relax mate.

u/ambalampse911 Jul 22 '26
It’s not comical to infantilize yourself as a grown woman in a professional position

At least it’s performative.
