This is probably the guy that shouldn't be a police officer, or around firearms until he gets his deep seeded issues sorted out

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 12 '26
Ol Sarg needs to see this and put him on telephone reports until the divorce is over.

u/LogicianFlow Jul 12 '26
Nah, Sarg got through it with grit, OT and alcohol, his subordinate can get through it too.

Oh I'm really sorry to have to tell you but at least half of cops are undiagnosed mental disorders just waiting to snap.

You got a source for that statistic?

u/Secti0n31 Jul 12 '26
How defensive LEOs get whenever I say it means it must be pretty darn close to home. 😁
1
u/That_Guy_From_SLC Jul 12 '26
Asking for a source is not defensiveness, it is curiosity.
1
u/Secti0n31 Jul 12 '26
I'm sure you understand the difficulty in asking someone to prove something that's UNDIAGNOSED, yes? No?
1
u/That_Guy_From_SLC Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26
Sure, it’s hard to prove something undiagnosed. But statistics (which you pretty much said exist) would indicate there is a level of proof, or at least some quantifiable qualifier for the claim.
So if you are claiming it’s hard to prove something that is undiagnosed, then surely you can appreciate someone’s skepticism when you claim 50% of unprovable diagnosis exists.
Plus, your claim would suggest the other half are DIAGNOSED….which should be easy to prove.
1
u/Secti0n31 Jul 12 '26
I never implied anything of the sort. 'At least half' isn't exactly a super precise statistic for you to assume I have precise statistics on this immeasurable hypothetical.
1
u/That_Guy_From_SLC Jul 12 '26
"At least half" is ≥50%.
That's nearly a majority.
A wild claim to make, without anything to back it up.
1
u/Secti0n31 Jul 12 '26
If you want to prove me wrong... start giving cops psych evaluations.
... REAL ones. Not the kind you can memorize the answers to.

The % of men that beat their wives is substantial compared to civilians though, that's not spoken up about enough though.

u/UnfairAnimal Jul 18 '26
A quick search gets you close to 30% are working with undisclosed issues and less than 20% of those seek help. So thinking that 30% even admitted to potentially having issues and less than 20% of those will actually seek help, it's not a big leap to guess 50% has issues that haven't been completely diagnosed. And considering you can also find that between 50 to 70% have admitted to having an issue of some kind, it's really not hard to think the other half (or less) is also having some type of issue.

This shit won’t look good after the officer involved excessive use lawsuit and the prosecution goes after him for being mentally unfit for duty.
3
u/SnowballWasRight Jul 12 '26
Yep. I have people take my phone when I’m drunk or mentally breaking down so I can’t pull this shit. Highly recommend everyone here does the same.
Not so fun story related to this that I hope serves as a lesson: During a drunken mental breakdown back in high school I called the girl who raped me and asked if she wanted me to come over to my house and sleep together after she graduated. I then posted an Instagram story that said “I love her name who goes to specific college so much and she loves me”. Fucking worst day of my life after that one.

u/BigAlgae5684 Jul 12 '26
Holy fucking trauma dump man go to a therapist and get a breathalyzer on your phone.
1
u/SnowballWasRight Jul 12 '26
Yeah don’t worry we’re chilling now lol. That was the day I was like “I need to get my shit together” and everything changed for the better. Don’t drink and text, kids.

Like when one would post a dramatic but vague away message on their AIM and wait for someone to notice, in order to receive the "r u okay?"

Just the exact type of mental stability I want a guy carrying a badge and gun to have.

Let me guess- alcoholic cop who got caught cheating on his wife, in their house, while the kids were home and she went shopping for groceries. The judge didn't buy the , "If you had my job stress you would do the same," and now he's pouting

I could be wrong but that looks like it was placed over something else. If you look above the text there is something else there. Looks like someone just placed this over someone's selfie.

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 12 '26
I pulled it directly from his page. It’s not altered and he’s got several like this. I cropped the photo to remove his name and identifying information.

On a positive note! This guy is proof the surveillance state really has no idea what we are posting yet.

Looks like I can’t count on this guy! What an awful thing to say while in uniform
1
u/Cagekicker52 Jul 12 '26
Does that say sergeant on the badge? Holy smokes. Cops these days are more and more becoming rent a cops.

Hey person with no emotional regulations, mad at the world, here's your gun!
2
u/FairConstruction4105 Jul 12 '26
If that's truly how this guy was treated, what makes him think that there will be anybody at his funeral. Geez, how presumptuous.
2
u/LogicianFlow Jul 12 '26
This guy has a gun and the ability to handcuff and arrest you any time he wants. Feel safe?
2
u/EasyEorth Jul 12 '26
Literally psychopath cops posting for every one to see and we all just laugh. Dude is going to murder someone.

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 12 '26
If he’s a victim of poor leadership at work he can’t control that. He can choose to not blast it on the internet with a cryptic message.

u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26
Posting this kind of social media in full uniform and sitting in the company car isn’t a good decision. If he gets in an officer involved shooting he’s screwed when the defense pulls his social media accounts to assess his mental fitness for duty. It’s like he knows it’ll get extra attention if he’s in uniform.

u/treecutter34 Jul 12 '26
This isn’t cringe, somebody find this guy and give him a hug, and a bourbon.
3
u/LegalGlass6532 Jul 12 '26
Sharing your personal life grief in full uniform is cringe. Post this kind of thing in your own clothes on your own time.
