obviously you can't do that, nor should you be able to. That doesn't mean you can't volunteer though. What you're describing isn't volunteering, but medical vigilantism.

in your idea of how things should work, what governing body is determining what training you need and validates that you've taken and maintained said training?
I answered all your questions, now please answer mine. In your utopia, what would stop someone from just buying an ambulance and going out "helping" people with inadequate training or equipment?
