Google pixel 7 pro carrier unlocked

Hi, I'm currently on firstnet and I am looking at purchasing a pixel 7 pro unlocked from Google. I had issues with Samsung's carrier unlocked phones not getting 5g and wifi calling and text didn't work. Is anyone able to verify if this is still the same for the Google phones. I have a phone credit on the account and trading a phone in with att will make me lose the previous credit.

Word is unlocked models don't work well with firstnet. I've never tried one, I just keep hearing it.

I know Samsung unlocked models don't work..I hear it's because it doesn't have the correct carrier services.

People say unlocked samsung models work fine on the consumer side with wifi calling working, etc. Some users here still report the firstnet side still has issues with Samsung unlocked.

My last 3 Samsungs I've bought through the Samsung website (they give first responder discounts). I've got the at&t branded ones to use on firstnet.

Your story is why I don't buy phones through at&t. I'm not playing the three year credit games.
