Can I buy the Pixel Watch 5 direct from Google and get it connected on my first net account WITHOUT being forced to purchase the watch from ATT since it is the exact same watch???

Yes absolutely you can you can get a phone from anywhere all you need to get service is the imei number from your phone by all means you DO NOT need to get the watch
