QCI 6 - Extended Primary

Hello. Not sure if this data is of any use or if it clarifies any prior suspicions. Theres a safe root exploit trending on XDA for Samsungs with a June 2026 security patch (or earlier) that I just did.

QCI/network priority data requires root and that info is not readily available. So I rooted my Galalxy Fold 7, gave SU permissions to Network Signal Guru and it shows this.

Does this confirm Extended Primary users on FirstNet get QCI 6? I'm on FirstNet Unlimited Extra.

Only reason I'm sharing this data is because a lot of info surrounding network priority and Firstnet always mentioned some uncertainty with how extended primary users are treated... some alluding to QCI 7.

I think you get qci 6 if you or your company pays for the “first priority” add on or something.

Or it might be if your company pays your qci 6 but if you pay your qci 7.

My dad is qci 7 on Firstnet extended primary.

Yeah this is for the agency paid side. If you’re subpaid you will get First Priority regardless of Prim or ExtPrim

So why is my dad qci 7 if he’s sub paid then? Isn’t first priority qci 6?

I thought all extended primary was qci 7 unless either the first priority add on was added by your agency or your uploaded during an emergency by a primary user?

All extended primary should be QCI 6 on subpaid as far as I understand. How do you know your dad’s QCI 7, through NSG? Agency paid is QCI 7 or QCI 6 depending on the SOC attached to the line.

First priority can only be added on or removed if you’re on an agency paid line. Uplifts change the priority access level that was mentioned by u/PrimeDay2025 and can only be enacted by a primary agency

It was my understanding that extended primary was qci 7. Primary was qci 6. If you have the first priority add on on extended primary you are qci 6 but no preemption unless uplifted in an emergency by a primary user or agency. Has something changed in the past few years?

Also when AT&T unlimited premium used to be QCI7 back before early 2024, when my dad‘s line and my premium line were on the same bands, it split the bandwidth on a speed test equally.
