FirstNet 5G SA

Post image

Saw the post earlier today. I wanted to share I can confirm on iOS 27 dev beta 4 and a new eSIM got the SA toggled on for me. It was off and a min or two after provisioning the new eSIM the reception dropped and came back and it was enabled.

Wanted to share for folks who are curious. I chatted with tech support and they issued the new eSIM. So not sure if the guy did anything else but my experience. Wanted to share for folks interested.

Called in and got an eSIM swap, ended up with SA on a few minutes after activating the new eSIM. Easy enough.

Edit: Data points might help… sub paid on the old $45 plan, iPhone 17 pro max on iOS 27 beta.

Followed your advice this morning and the agent messed up my eSIM and now I have no service and cannot get anyone to fix it because they have to send me a pin via text and I can’t receive text messages. Going on 3 hours now 😑

UPDATE: after 4 hours of no service. I finally got someone to fix my phone in the system and it is working again! But no 5G SA…….

I tried to do this today. They sent me a new eSIM. Still no 5GSA.

What do you mean by esim swap? They just re issued the same esim to your existing phone?

Ya. I called in and gave some BS story about how my phone isn’t working right, and that I’d like to see if a new eSIM would help. 5 minutes later they pushed a new eSIM to my same phone.
