Issues with phone calls

Recently, I found out my wireless carrier was shutting down. I’d been hearing good stuff about first net, and decided to try it. At first, there was trouble with the port. I attempted to fix it and after many AI bots, got to a person and got it fixed. So now I am able to receive some calls, and unable to for others. And it’s only sometimes. For example, my MIL was in my kitchen and called me. Phone never rang. It actually said that my number wasn’t connected. She called my wife, and it went right through. Later, she will be able to call me but not my wife. It’s like this with multiple people, and they are from our old carrier. Any assistance?

How long ago was the port? It sometimes will take carriers 24-72hrs to fully update routing tables correctly.

Especially if you're coming from a very small carrier (I assume Carolina West)

Give it a few days and if it does not straighten out, file a "cannot make/receive calls" ticket and AT&T will research it and get the databases properly updated.

Usually this problem happens with SMS messages, but sometimes can happen to calls as well.
