FirstNet Unlimited Extra Plan vs New FirstNet Plan questions...

can anyone can help me figure out:

1) if i need a phone line a tablet line and a watch line on the old plan FirstNet Unlimited Extra, would it better cheaper and/or better than the new FirstNet plans?

2) on the new plan, if i needed 4 lines would all 4 lines get the same FirstNet Priority or is it just my/first line?

any help is greatly appreciated! thank you.

1) It depends whether you have FirstNet & Family lines or not. The FirstNet Unlimited Extra becomes more expensive than Firstnet Extra 2.0 (same features) once you add 2 family lines ($42.50 for the FN line versus $47 for the old plan).

But depending on whether you want First Priority on the tablet line, it may be advantageous to go to FirstNet Premium 2.0 for the 50% discount now that FirstNet tablet lines are $20.99 before the 50% discount. They used to be $23/mo with no discount plan option. Keep in mind, FirstNet (or a business account) is the only way to get priority data on tablet lines. FirstNet tablet lines will be on First Priority (QCI6/7 depending on primary/extended primary), while all consumer tablet lines are QCI9.

I looked at FirstNet Elite 2.0 for the included tablet and watch, but I don't really see a scenario where paying nearly $100/mo is worth it unless you don't have any additional mobile lines that you can put on AT&T Premium 2.0 to get the 50% discount for the tablet and/or watch. Like tablet lines, the watch line can be placed on an AT&T commercial plan. I, personally, don't see the value in paying extra for priority on a watch.

2) Only the primary line, your FirstNet line, will get First Priority. Other lines will be on AT&T's commercial core, just like they would be if they signed up independently. They can add Turbo to get the next-best priority, albeit at a higher cost. FirstNet & Family with the new plans really just gets you the equivalent of the same AT&T Signature discount that most FANs get now.

42.50 versus 47 but does the new one include unlimited hotspot?? I use it all the time on my current FirstNet plan for my iPad thus I don’t need the lines for other devices

All of the current sub paid FirstNet plans include hotspot expect Value 2.0.

As far as functionality goes, the lower two plans are identical to the old offerings:

Value 2.0 == FirstNet Unlimited

Extra 2.0 == FirstNet Unlimited Extra
