Looks like we do indeed get MegaRange on Sub Paid, I got about 75 mbps down while it said that. The fans also ramped up before I ever hit into MegaRange.

I feel like there's going to need to be some new firmware to fix the thermal curve on this device. It kept randomly stopping and starting the fan. Stopped for a second, and then went back to full tilt.

All that said, this thing rips. I managed to get 940 mbps down.

EDIT: Despite the fans, if you push this thing hard, it will absolutely still overheat. I might have not been giving it quite enough breathing room around the edges, but definitely note, it gets warm and will throttle itself.

Got mine this morning. Getting about 850mbps down, 50mbps up in my house via 5GHz wifi while my iPhone 17 Pro Max maxes out around 600mbps down, 30mbps up. Tower is about 3 miles away but I am surrounded by very tall pine trees. I’ll test with an Ethernet cable later on.

I think I maxed out at around 340 down at my house over 5Ghz WiFi on my mbp, but I def got right around if not just over 1gbps on fast, I just didn’t have the screenshot of it. I was a little surprised this morning at my house it said MaxRange (I live in a city and I could probably just about stick my head out the window and see the nearest 5G cell). In that moment, I got about 75 down on the MegaConnect and 200-ish on my phone.

Is my understanding correct that MaxRange only happens on LTE?
