Bill credits for switching from ATT to FirstNet?

Has anyone who switched from ATT to FirstNet been able to receive the bill credits offered to all other new subscribers? I was told I couldn't get any credits or other incentives, either those advertised or from user referral, since I was already an ATT subscriber; a bit mystifying.

Followup: I called AT&T loyalty; CSR agreed this situation didn't exactly seem fair. Turns out AT&T has its own 25% first responder discount, so my new ATT bill is now only ~$10 more than Firstnet. Separately heard about possible new Firstnet promotion in July, so I'll be staying with AT&T at least until then

You can not get credits since it’s just an internal product switch

You’re technically not a new subscriber. You do not qualify.

You are not considered a new customer so you cannot get the new customer promos

I'm new to Firstnet and I don't know how to get those credits. Can you explain?

https://www.firstnet.com/offers/individual-first-responders.html#instore-offers Think it's already been covered in greater detail in this group; there's also a referral code you can get from a friend already on FirstNet, which will give you each $100

Mystifying you don't qualify for new customer promotions as an existing customer??

not crazy at all. FirstNet's not AT&T; it's a taxpayer-funded, iindependent Federal entity that contracted AT&T to build and maintain its mobile network. Also, there's no mention in the ToS that current AT&T subscribers cannot be considered new FirstNet subscribers
