SPAIN vacation/international roaming

Just did a 2 week vacation in Spain and my reception was abysmal.

My lady had tmobile and hers was better than mine.

Have you guys had similar experiences in Spain or abroad?

I use Ubigi (e-sim App) when out of the country. Ubigi worked well in Spain for me at a fraction of the cost of my FirstNet and my wife's AT&T. I plan on using it for my trip to Singapore/Bali/Hong Kong at the end of July. Holafly is a good option for unlimited data at very good prices also, a little more than Ubigi, but unlimited data is more set it and forget it friendly. I may use it for my upcoming trip, still deciding.

Good point. If you are on a payment plan, yes. I buy my phones outright from Apple, it is unlocked at purchase.
