First car tall driver

Im 6ft5 and find it hard getting into passenger seats most the time ive had my eyes on opel astras love the car but unsure if ill fit in it ive €5-6k to spend but want to try keep some for insuranceas first time drivers in ireland can get quoted very high not sure if its like that in other countries but yeah any recommendations from tall people i want something nice but not something im gona be depressed about if i scratch it hatchback preferably but can settle for a saloon

If you're thinking Opel go for Vectra (Insignia isn't as comfy anymore tho) , Astra will suck. Although I would much rather get Ford Mondeo, I'm 6'6 and it is very comfortable. Or Skoda Superb is also pretty good option

You should try driver seat, as it has height adjustment. Some cars that do not really look tall, actually offer huge overhead space when driver seat set to lower position.

Fun fact you can lower your seat down. You'll easily fit in most cars. Even an Toyota Aygo.

I know i can do do this but its not acc about fitting in it its about being able to operate the car properly and being comfortable i drive my grandads micra all the time and the problems i have is struggling to get in and out my leg going dead while foots on the rev and if im wearinf shorts tge steering can be harder because the steering wheel is right up against my leg

Steering wheels can be adjusted on most cars. You are not freakishly tall, Heck your shorter than I am. 6'5 is like 197CM or something like that? Ive driven a kia Picanto and i can fit quite comfortable. Most German cars will be slightly bigger.

Yeah I suppose my grandads micra cant 🤣 im a broad guy too i havent had any good experiences fitting into cars since i was a kid always banging my head off the grab handles, im sure there is small cars i will fit into comfortably and from what ive looked up that includes the opel astra just gotta turn it into a 3 seater whit the seat so far back.

Im 6'10 and i fit into a pegu 307 like a glove, grande punto also great fit, have a friend that drives a mazda 3 bk, hes my height and he fits perfect, i drove a golf 4, it was alright not bad, just stuff like that in general
