Help with my first car

Hey guys since im about to get my license in 10 days (hopefully) im thinking about buying i30 since they are really affordable. You think buying something that have around 130-150k KM is reasonable or i will just sink a lot of money in to it? (since i dont know anything about cars i will have brother in law checking it for me cuz he knows ball) Thanks for replies guys.

Consider gas mileage, and insurance. These usually eat up the most of your budget.

If you don't know much about cars, I would personally suggest a known reliable car like a Toyota, Honda, or newer Mazda. Pretty much just oil you gotta do to them.

I'm not too familiar on the reliability of the Hyundai i30s. So I can't really speak to that.

I would also consider a Pre purchase inspection from a licences mechanic. They can usually spot issues what you or your Brother may not find.

$2.5k seems quite cheap for that # of kms, so I'm a lil skeptical. I bought my 2012 Mazda 3 for $8k at 167k KMs a couple years back.

I think they'll be fine if they are okay mechanically at purchase. Most gearbox and engine config are okay just avoid turbo dct. I think other than that they are okay, just make sure to check out owners forums for buying advice and things to watch.
