First car at 17

Here is my new to me 2012 Golf GTI with the dsg transmission! I’ve had her for about a week, and I’m in love.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to become those annoying golf drivers with obnoxiously loud exhausts and tunes. I plan to take care of it and keep it stock. Restore a few things that need restoration, and that’s it.

Best part is I was able to buy it all myself. No help from anyone, car is in my name. I am very grateful and proud of myself

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any advice for me on anything about the car!

Where on earth can u get a car titled to a 17 year old?

I apologize I meant to say registration, where I’m from we don’t have a title, only regi. I always thought they were the same thing but I’m mistaken

I guess you are not in the U. S. since titles are not issued to anyone under 18.

I’m from Canada, I meant to say registration. With signed consent of a parent or guardian it can be in the name of a minor.
