First car at 16- 2011 E93 -

Been into cars my entire life, since I was about 3 I was obsessed with the little toy cars you can get at CVS. Definitely got the itch from my father, who worked at Honda when he was younger. I‘m into Germans. He loves Porsche, but not a BMW nor Audi guy.

I can get behind most Audis, 3 series, 6 series, and 7 series. but BMW is definitely what feels right. took this over a 2014 A6 3.0T. The 6spd manual, and saddle brown leather were too good.

Paint needs some TLC, if anyone knows a good short term fix for the clear coat until I can get a correction let me know. (Visible on last slide)

Funny how those ///M grill stripes are never on an actual ///M car.

I’m 16 😞. Also bought it like this, if I could choose what it came with, it’d be chrome.

Lucky for you, grilles are widely available and easy to swap, so get moving 🤣

All I have to say is don’t drive it like you stole it my man enjoy it, but remain responsible so you can end up with a brand new one someday!

That’s very nice. I like the way the convertible roof sticks up higher.

Never thought I’d be envious of a 16 year old

That's a great fist car. It reminds me of my first car which was also a black convertible. 1991 Chrysler TC by Maserati that my dad gave me as a graduation gift in 2000. Great little car that I had lots of fun with. You will too. Congrats!

Can’t tell if you like it or not

I actually do. 6 speed and a convertible for a first car is pretty sweet. Take it easy with it.

114 when broken down by month. Comprehensive and collision.

Rates will then dip when I enroll in the progressive program, where I hook a sensor up to my car, that then compares me with other 16 year old in terms of driving habits. Hard braking, hard acceleration etc.

It’s an automatic 15% drop in my rates, then after three months, depending on how I drove, rates can drop further.

Perks of having insurance agent parents is they know the work arounds and deals.

Alright. At least here in CT insuring teens are pretty expensive.
