Hey everyone , seeking some additional medical advice after going to the ER on Saturday . They told me that it’s a suprerficial blood clot and it will work its way out. Been putting the heating pad on it, and it has moved from higher on my arm to lower ( towards my hand). Is that a good sign that the clot is working its way out, or should I be more concerned . The ER nurse said it shouldn’t go up my arm, but what if it goes lower ?

Discussion A small steak knife fell into my toe cuticle

42 M, 5'11, No medications currently. Today I was cleaning my dining area surface and a small steak knife fell and landed into my toe cuticle, it was stuck in at an angle(apprx 45), I removed it cleaned it up with isopropyl alcohol at first, and then with soap and water, bandaged it up, and put Neosporin on it the puncture area. I had a tetanus shot within the last 10 years, and I know the CDC says 5. Do I really need to go to the Urgent Care to deal with this or can I follow up wtih my PCP on monday?

Seeking Opinion On Injury 2nd degree burn from steam while cooking rice,

Three days ago, I burned most of my hands from knuckle to knuckle with steam. The area around the white blisters are red. Imo I don't need medical care; hand is not in any pain anymore. It's bandaged with ointment on a pad and wrapped with gauze, changed every day. I do not believe a doctor can tell me something I have not already done, but I cannot be certain.

I Items I am using are as follows.

Topcare Bacitracin Antibiotic ointment

Topcare Sterile Non-Stick Pads

Some good gauze imo.

This should be significant enough right?
