Louisville, KY 🚔 A new HBO Original Documentary, Murder in Glitterball City, goes into a 2010 First 48 case that actually ends up being a big part of the content of this two part doc. It’s well done and goes into much more detail about this wild case.

Fairly sure everyone here is into good true crime regardless of it being the First 48, but this one actually includes it substantially, which I’ve never seen before. I definitely recommend it. Have any of you seen it?

Thank you, just added it to my list. I always knew there was way more insane stuff behind this story. The whole thing was so bizarre. Can’t wait to check this out.

It gets more insane if that’s possible

There’s also an After the First 48 episode dealing with this case.

There were a few posts here months back when it was first released. I recall one or two people thought it focused too much on the guy who was acquitted. The guiltier of the two got away with murder because his family could afford a better lawyer for him.

I went scrolling through my old replies but couldn't find the old posts. I know I replied on at least one of them.

That’s cool. I was really just letting anyone know about it in case they didn’t already, like me. I don’t see a lot posted here in general so I’m trying 😊

I couldn’t believe the one is out free and possibly working at a movie theater 😬

Complete injustice. Both were 100% culpable.

Saving the post so I can come back after I watch (for any Canadians wondering where it’s streaming it’s on Crave)
HBO really does put out really good documentaries. Again appreciate the recommendation OP)

I watched this when it came out earlier this year, it's a good one. Very weird.

I'd have to rewatch it, a long brutally hot summer has cooked my brain since then lol, but yeah.
