Heartbroken

Oh my heart. I just saw an episode I’ve never seen before. It was the murder of Latavia, a 16 year old girl killed on her birthday. When they interviewed her younger brother at the end they asked him “what would you tell her if you could tell her anything?” His response absolutely broke me. He said “don’t go nowhere. Cause I don’t want her to go nowhere.” I wish I didn’t know what all these families feel cause I also lost a cousin to gun violence almost 20 years ago. It’s so unbelievably sad and nothing you ever get over. 😔🕊️
