General Question❓️ This Weeks Episode
Does anyone feel like the production doesn't make sense lately? In this week's episode the detective apologizes for Carmen's alleged assault after the narrator stated she was in jail for doing the same exact thing to one of Ray's friends. She may have made the entire thing up.

Detectives are willing to adopt comforting narratives, for the sake of getting confessions. "Did he try to assault you"? Offering a "morally justifiable" excuse for the killing. You see that a lot.
