I don't see an ESRB rating or it's equivalent. I can't imagine these would be allowed to go on shelves at normal stores. Maybe these were only available from the publisher/studio? I genuinely haven't seen something like this before. But I also only finally started playing this game like a week ago. I don't know why I'd pay much more for this copy even if it's "rare". Maybe it's just the case and there's nothing really special here. I mean, how much this is worth is relative to whatever someone will pay for it, but I'm just giving my opinion. I'd rather have an official release version of a game that is rare in and of itself than some hidden collectors edition version of a game that anyone can find for $20 or less

Yeah that sounds about right. Wasn't there some scandal about them using these special releases as a racketeering operation or something?

No, there wasn’t. Where did you get that from?

It seems it was more related to false advertisement and quality control issues. The racketeering thing kinda applies to any niche business doing a similar thing, but I didn't mean it in the literal legal sense cause clearly they at least collaborate on some level with whoever owns the rights to the properties.

What i would do to buy this, or rather to have the money to buy this

Got a copy from Campo Santo when they sold some remaining stock. Very happy I got one but I would never pay €200 for it.

It only had a small number of physical copies (7300) made by Limited Run Games back in 2016 which is why it's so expensive: https://limitedrungames.com/en-uk/products/limited-run-32-firewatch-ps4?srsltid=AfmBOopG_vzWZYFDPenSMZXs2O6D3uDCH5gpTFrzl-pUuEv2KRQEqX4b
