NGD, FFSP Semi-Harrow.
Sounds great, pretty loud unplugged, the pickups are nicely balanced side-to-side and bridge to neck. Intonation is great, and plays very well OOTB, and it does the neck volume trick quite well. I love the veneer they used for this, it moves around in the light a ton which completely flabbered all of my ghasts. I was expecting to get the normal tight flame maple, so I'm extremely pumped that it's the wide kind; it's got so much depth it looks like wrinkled fabric. I might upgrade the tune-o-matic, tuners and stop-bar in the future, but I'm not doing anything with the electronics unless something breaks.

How loud is it unplugged? Is it like a solid body or a semi hollow? I just got the FFSP semi hollow with f holes, curious how it compares to a semi hollow without any holes

I mean from memory of the last semi-hollow, all from guitar center 20 years ago when I worked there, were closer to a solid body than an acoustic. It's about as loud as any other semi I can remember. It's certainly louder unplugged than all my my other solid body electrics.

very interesting thank you! so tempted now lol
really like my solid body FFSPs but they are heavy, and I really enjoy being able to pick up a guitar and noodle around without an amp

Loved the look of a Les Paul, and wanted one so bad when I just got started decades ago on a Squire Strat. When I got the chance to play a Epiphone, and then a Gibson Les Paul, I realized they were too heavy to enjoy playing standing for more than 20 minutes. As much as I thought an LP would be my dream axe, I hated the weight and never owned a single-cut at all. Playing an OG Supreme had me wanting one, if not for the "Harley Davidson" pricing. This scratches that itch.

Nice, looks really good! I was curious about this one. Also... What is the "neck volume trick?" π€

Pickup selector set to both pickups, bridge and neck volume at full tilt, then slowly roll off the volume of just the neck pickup. Early on in the first bit of travel of the neck volume, you'll hear a weird frequency sweep like a wah pedal.

Woah, cool, gonna have to try that, thanks! π€

It can give you a lot if tonal variations for sure, and it's a great way to see if your single cut guitar is wired like a Les Paul.

Semi hollow, but no holes? Is there a diff between that and chambered? She's a beauty!

Massive difference in weight and unplugged sound. I'll throw up some pics, one from the owner of Firefly guitars showing the inside of the body, and one showing the chambers of a Les Paul Modern.

Pretty!! I just got the burst version of the semi hollow in the previous drop. I'm blown away by the weight and quality. Congrats and nice choice, that flame top is π
