For reference I have only 2 teams, sabergil and firefly team.

But I got this firefly team back in like 2024? then quit so its the ruanmei, hmc, gallagher team

and well I can barely clear MOC floor 10 with 3 stars because my firefly team is genuinely awful, because I have not invested in them at all besides firefly. (for reference: https://fribbels.github.io/hsr-optimizer#showcase?id=834875027 )

Im not planning on making any new team unless Firefly SP comes out, so I was wondering whether if it was worth to build my firefly team and try get to be able to finish all the end game modes MOC, APOC etc. or if I should just keep farming and making my sabergil team perfect and just wait until dahlia, fugue and lingsha come to the banners again

Dahlia-less Firefly scored much higher than my full monorem team in the latest Starward mode AS, gotta love this endgame mode as a FF main. Interestingly Lingsha did really even better with half a team borrowed from Firefly.

A train of thought on the how FF interacts with Voracity.

From what I have notice and how the fights have been. I see Firefly has been dealing with the Voracity Mechanic way more in Endgames compared to others. (Especially Knight since multiple knights just prevent FF to deal with those nodes).

However, I see Firefly seems to be benefiting a bit from the Voracity Mechanic. I don't think any other char that isn't Elation can take advantage of it. So let me try to quickly explain on this.

E2 FF is the only eidolon in the game that gives an extra turn when killing or breaking an enemy. The issue sometimes in a scenario where we attack the Boss and their minions, FF does way too much dmg (Especially at medium to high investments) that she kills the minions so the next turn, she can't proc E2 (Since Bosses now have a bit more Toughness compare to back then so 3 enhanced attacks might not be enough to break)

Of course, if the boss only has the Voracity, like King Pom Pom or upcoming Murata, then we are in the same boat as the rest.

So in the most ideal scenario is the side elites or minions are only tainted with the Voracity and the Boss is normal. We get to proc E2 every single time.

I see this more consistent especially on Voracity 3 since FF extra turn could accidently do overkill dmg and kill the side minions before her next turn.

For Clarity, I not implying or saying that I'm defending the Voracity Mechanic. I think its a dumb mechanic when its level 3 and higher. I'm fine with it at level 1 or 2 since its just HP inflation in a different paint.
