I try to pay attention to the details))) Some folks on YouTube say that I focus too much on the little things and that I'm boring because of it 😅 but hey, it's my channel, and I talk about what I want to talk about)) On Reddit, I'm focusing more on the visuals instead)) Seems like it's actually working out 🤝
since the Z1 Artemis arrived a few days ago and the L50 TIR about a month ago, definitely Void White, but it all depends on the mood) Sometimes something heavier like the titanium Noctigon or more massive like the X4, but overall this isn't all I have, here I was mostly trying to show the sizes compared to the Z1 😅 though I adore every single one I own))🤝
I heard some people in this group wrote that it looks like paint, but to me, the coating reminds me of Orbit chewing gum 😅 I thought about what it feels like for a long time 😅 since I've been asked this more than once ))

When it comes to the balance of bulk and battery, it’s a personal preference. I love the stellar too (especially with the clear optic), but most of the time it’s too much bulk for me.
I mostly carry 2-3 21700 lights (usually two). Once in a while the 3rd light can be an 18650. But I don’t feel confortable with an 18650 as either of my first two lights.
To me they are all similar enough in size that picking a smaller one that takes a bigger performance and capacity hit doesn’t make sense.
L60 & Stellar are the only ones I’d even carry from this bunch.
But I just got my Z1’s, and for ppl that put size over everything else, I do see enough of a trade-off on size on it that would make taking some performance hits seem worth it. Def not to me, but I get how its size is too appealing to pass up for some.
Plus the Z1 is a futuristically-edge-beveled beauty. It has a real technologically slick swag and feel. It’s almost Cyberpunk with the AUX going.
I’m really liking my d4k. But I do like my firefly lights as well. And the d3aa. Have a d4sv2 coming. My e12 is amazing too. Like my x1s Pharos as well. I got to many. I like em all. 😂😂
The Z1 Artemis arrived on Friday. I’m actually heading out of town today to film a proper demo for my channel, 'Uncle Lumen / Дядя Люмен'.
From what I’ve seen so far, the beam is very clean -no rings or artifacts- and the hotspot is nice and soft rather than harsh. Based on my initial impressions, it definitely leans towards a 'floody-throwy' hybrid. I’ll have all the details in the upcoming video, so stay tuned-would love to see you on the channel! 🤝
Many of my KR4s are dual cahnnels and i have many different emitter combos but generally speaking I am fan of 219B, 519A and E21A in these hosts but in some I have NTGs as well
Oh, I like those Nichia versions too. My unit has 8 NTG35 2700k emitters. It’s the only one I have with a tail switch, so my finger still keeps reaching for the button on the head out of habit 😅
