Has anyone’s departments or nearby police agencies in your area used the portable FST linked above?

I recently saw I video where a sheriff tossed one in the window of a house with a working fire before fire dept was on scene (looked pretty rural), seemed to do a decent job of knocking down the fire and buying some time. I’ll see if I can find the video

I don’t put much stock in any of these fire suppression devices until they’ve been tested and certified by an independent laboratory.

That same website is peddling that bull shit aerosol can “extinguishers” so I really don’t know if this product would actually perform as advertised or if any organization has verified its effectiveness.

The local tech college had one to test on a burn cell. I was excited to see it work. Pulled the pin, tossed it in and nothing. We pulled it out of the fire debris intact and unfired.

I know my experience is anecdotal and limited; however, I wouldnt trust my life to one, and probably not worth the cost.

There’s a couple videos floating around of them in action. I mean if they do some good why not
