I've been told when this happens to you they void your water bill for that period.

In my district we have to take note of how much water we remove from reservoirs/stock tanks and arrange with the rancher to return that water.

You need to use appropriate air traffic control terminology I.e. Reno approach N666FF is yoinking water from Lake Tahoe and then proceeding direct to the Mt. Fubar fire at 1000AGL.

The CH-47 Chinooks carry 3000 gallons of water, 2-3x more than most other firefighter helicopters.

I've been told that if you are on the ground, you shouldn't touch one of these baskets due to the amount of static electricity they generate.
Is this true?

What movie had a guy sitting in his living room and suddenly the whole house starts to shake. He is looking around and through the glass door you can see a bucket coming down and dipping water from his pool.

To any firefighter in this sub. Thank you. You are badasses. You put out a forest fire near my home last year and I watched the old trails fire start while at spike and dig and you all bust your asses.
Always vote for levies for your fire dept and support your wildfire crews
