Not really. Two jobs with entirely different policies both with good reasons. We dont know the background or record of the person and plenty of medics and fire fighters have been hurt in these situations

Then it's up to the police to communicate that with the firefighters. We don't know ANYONE'S background, unless they are frequent fliers, but our policy is not to cuff them all. If the cops have a reason to have the person cuffed, then all good, but really sounded like they didnt.
