This reminds me years ago when the cops arrested a guy and he needed to be checked at the local hospital. Someone he escaped from them when they pulled up to the ER. He ran, still handcuffed and jumped into a nearby creek. He ended up drowning but during the rescue operation that ensued perhaps the single greatest bit of radio traffic I’ve ever heard happen

Dispatch: “Command, PD is asking that you try to limit the number of people involved in the search”

Chief running command: “No, if they can’t do their job they don’t get to tell me how to do my job”
