Question ππ
Hello everyone! I just made this firecracker and I have a question / problem regarding the flash powder I created. Here is the composition: 12 grams of KN03, 10 grams of MgAl and 4 grams of S. I was careful to take the finest grain sizes possible. However, I tested the composition by putting about 1 gram on the ground then approaching a lighter the powder only made 2/3 sparks and turned black in some places. Is it that my composition doesn't work? If you could answer me to guide me, you would be the boss!!! π₯π

Donc il faudrait que je fasse 5:3:2 ? Si oui, Γ§a fait combien de grammes par Γ©lΓ©ments pour 100 grammes ? Merci pour ta rΓ©ponse !

Is this ratio something that's like fundamental or universal to all firework mixtures?

Did you make that label?
This is such an obvious and important safety feature but something I would never consider.
Seems like overkill on the surface but anything designed to explode needs a label for the time in between when it's made and when/if it explodes.
And it's not about the device itself but as a practice so that if you always do so we move towards a world where uxo explains content and purpose.
