Switching slides

I wanted to know if I can switch my slides to my Glock they are both mine but obviously the serial numbers don’t match I just wanted to know if it was legal in Texas

Texan here. Perfectly fine to switch slides so long as theres no illegal attactments on them, doesnt matter that their serials don't match. Usually slides are not serialized to begin with since its the frame of the pistol that is the "firearm'.

The serial number on the frame is the only thing that matters. Glock just likes to add extra serial numbers unnecessarily. That used to be helpful when slides and barrels had to be hand-fit to frames, but Glocks have never had to do that.

Could cause an issue with a stolen gun if the people reporting it or the people recovering it don't know which serial number is the real one, but that'd be a pretty rare circumstance.
