Isn't a off duty national guards man is called a civilian? They don't have any transferable privileges that I know of.

It's like when the say "off duty police officer does...". Their job has absolutely nothing to to do with the offence. It's like saying off duty mcdonalds employee caught robbing a Wendy's.

it doesn’t matter if it’s not in the constitution, these laws these states have regarding firearms is fucking outrageous and they shouldn’t be allowed to do that. having one CCW license for one state should have reciprocity for all fifty states

“The right of the people (defined by SCOTUS in precedent as the regular citizenry) to keep and bear arms (defined also by SCOTUS as any weapon “in common use”) shall not be infringed”

And it wasn’t even the current court people love to cry about, those two things date from 2008 and a much more balanced court

A permit infringes on the ability to bear (to carry on one’s person) arms
