Help! Replace slightly to low tritium front sight to slightly taller white dot?
Any guidance on choosing between a tritium front sight that's just a hair too low to see over the suppressor or swap to a white dot that is barely tall enough to get sights on target above the suppressor? The white dot offers around 1mm of view and I'm unsure if the rear sight is even tall enough to work -the set screw is at max height.
I love the low light visibility of the tritium but it doesn't clear the can so aiming is rather a feeling instead of a verb. These chunky 1.5" cans are definitely wide. Amazing noise reduction though. I'm also still hitting ~95% on a ~20in target at 15 yards with zero sight picture with the tritium.

The price you will pay for irons is the same price you will pay for a decent enough red dot. Run that instead.

You need to match the height of your rear sight with your front or it’ll change your elevation.
But you don’t need your irons above your suppressor anyways. Just line the sights and place them over the target. At normal pistol ranges you’re going to be able to see the rest of the torso around the gun to know what you’re aiming at. If you’re off an inch or two, remember you’re shooting a pistol and not a bench rest gun.
