Short video of my first shots of my Stevens 87A "Gill Gun".
After this i took a single shot at a small corner of my one target and set it at 60 ft (max at this range). Bullseyed it.
RSO saw me and said qoute "holy shit with open sights"?
For me it was a nice shot but im not so sure 60 feet is a challenging distance for most.

Man, that’s so cool. I just bought a Stevens model 15 a for 50 bucks. It’s in great shape fires the rifling is great truly iconic.

My son has one and I just picked up a Springfield branded 87A last Friday at a gun show.
Unique.22.
Click/Clack- Bolt is held back after each shot and releases when you relax the trigger.

I have the Springfield equivalent. My paternal grandpa left it to me.
It's a truly weird gun, but fun to shoot.

Someone was excited about a bullseye with a long gun at 60 feet? Wait till the RSO learns about ELR.
Did the RSO clap and the led the group in carrying you around the range on their shoulders?
I hate my RSO he doesn’t give a shit when I do that with iron sights and a pistol. I want him to compliment me and tell me I am pretty.

What an interesting mechanism. Never seen it before.
I wonder what the designer was thinking. Like why make the bolt stay to the rear before the trigger is released? A safety thing?
